Was sort of hoping the ACDC bet had slipped under the radar- can't get on myself due to living in Asia for the time being. Messaged someone back home to get the bet on for me only to find out they've not checked they're messages this morning. Doh. 22/1 just won't do it. Best of luck with the bet for those who got on, hopefully it won't be as miserable as my Gomis top PL Scorer this season Opps.......happy to give you £5 at 66/1 if you want?

http://www.oddschecker.com/darts/pdc-world-championship/highest-average-o-uI put this up on the darts thread as close to a max. Under 107.5. See darts thread for the explanation if you interested. £300 at 4/5 with betfred. Think you said we can still get on at bald. They have moved the price from 5/6 to 4/5 (Mrs Bandit obviously been smashing up those west midlands shops - poor pete!). The most pointless price move in gambling going from 5/6 to 4/5. Decreases your overround from 109% to 107% as a bookie. Not surprise to see bald make this mistake. Difference between 5/6 and 4/5 isn't worth worrying about.

"My idea of a maximum bet for the darts is this: http://www.oddschecker.com/darts/pdc-world-championship/highest-average-o-uHIghest average in the event being under 107.5 5/6. Only once in the last 3 years has any player averaged over 105 in a match (Barney 108 in 2013 in the first round). Only twice in the last 3 years apart from that 108 average has anyone average 104 or 105 in a world championship match. These matches are long brutal affairs where it is very hard to average such high scores as we are used to in the premier league. Given Taylor is a shadow of his former self with no major wins this year this bet really does look a cracking bet. Apart from Taylor only MVG, Ando and Lewis (on a proper red hot going day) can average 108 at this level. Even then they will struggle at this level/length of match. If the bet hasn't gone over in the first round then it should be effectively weighed in. 107.5 average really is a truely sensational effort to do in any game. 95% of this field literally can't average that in any given game."

Haven't studied it properly but on the face of it looks a bet. I was thinking about offering up the Sunderland/draw double chance at around 3.6 later on in the week. From memory Sunderland's gritty away performance to Arsenal recently was proof that they can compete well with a lack of possession. Lost 3-1 I think but could have been a different story.
