He can catch his train now, after giving his wicket away in ridic fashion with an agricultural hoik.

Still, a solid start, 38/1 in 4.1.

Okay, disappointingly it's only 365 and brokes offering Formula E bets. Nevertheless, I found two spots.

Race Winner - Sebastian Buemi @ 11/10 with 365 or brokes. He's in the fastest car, and has clearly been way ahead of the field on pace this season. This should not be over evens. Suggest £100.

Race Winner - Oliver Rowland @ 50/1 with 365. Oliver won't win the race, but he is a quick driver making his début in the series, and in the Mahindra, a podium might be possible. 50/1 is too high. Suggest £10 (max) EW 1-3 1/5.

I did consider betting on Prost EW at 4-1, but not sure if it's a good spot or not. I'd say he has a 80% chance of getting on the podium .. go go maths betting gurus!  Grin

Thanks Peter.

365 is a no go for Fred, but we got on Buemi with Ladbrokes, though we were restricted.

We have £40 @ 11/10, Ladbrokes, Buemi.

Is it televised, if so, what time please?

The ev of the place bet is £1.44 for a £1 stake if your 80% is correct, so even if the win is as bad as 6-1 it should still be a good bet.

40/1 on brokes works for Rowland, but obviously losing quite a bit of value. It should be more like 15 or 20/1.

Per doubleup's post, I guess it's worth betting on Prost EW too. Thanks doubleup!

If last year's SPOTY taught us anything, it's to never underestimate the petrolhead vote.

Seems to me that's what's going on re: Lewis Hamilton's top three price.

Given Tyson Fury's antics, I'd say there's more chance of arbboy replying to a PM than him making the top three, so doesn't this essentially become a HU v Sinfiield? That's assuming Jess is nailed on for a top three also...

We can either back Lewis to finish second (5-1) and third (14-1) with Laddies, or take 3.9 for a top three on the machine. Whichever suits best Tighty. Invest £30 either way.

Based on the way practice went, hold off on the Rowland and Prost bets.

Buemi bet is good though. He was 1.1 seconds clear of everyone in first practice, with traffic too.

Charlie Nicholas and Tony Cottee mocking Swansea for considering and pursuing Bielsa. Not for him being bonkers but because he isn't a young, British manager like Gary Rowett.

Phil Thompson criticises Klopp for doing his thank you to the fans at the end of the game thing.

No idea why I watch this nonsense every Saturday.

Meanwhile, on Planet Earth, Hiddink appointed.

Renegades win by 7 wickets in last over.

Good stuff, thanks Nelly, we have a sweat.

Today was a bit closer than I'd hoped, but main thing was getting them beat. Add in victories to the other "lesser" sides Sydney thunder and Adelaide strikers and we have the ideal start.

Going forward, Brisbane will lose their no.3 bat from today (Joe burns) to international duty, weakening their batting. Their power hitters came off today against a pretty weak attack, but james hopes at number 7 in the long run isn't as strong as the majority of the team. a lot depends on Simmons and Lynn.

With the ball teams will be cautious against badree and make hay against the rest, despite having 6 bowlers they never looked like getting the job done. Today they obviously had the likes of Gayle, finch, white and bravo to contend with, but it won't get easier when you look at the batting for Melbourne stars, Hobart hurricanes etc. I haven't seen anything so far in the opening 3 games to change my opinion that the heat have the weakest squad in the league.
