This morning The Heat play their last league game, 13/8 away at The Stars. If they win, we've had a nice sweat but we've done our money. Lose and we're all but home on them coming bottom. They've been underdogs for each of their 8 games so we had the best of it at 9/2 either way. Stars missing 4 players to international duty (3 bowlers) so should be a high scoring game given The Heat's bowling has been their weakness. We could do with The Stars winning the toss and chasing, which is both teams favoured method. Stars coach Stephen Fleming loves to chase, as it's 1 less uncertainty for his team. One time ...

Coral have some specials on Middlesbrough FC by all accounts.

Middlesbrough to remain unbeaten in the Championship for the rest of the season - 67.0
Middlesbrough to not concede a goal in the Championship from 16/1/16 - 1001.0
Middlesbrough to not concede a goal at home in the Championship from 16/1/16 - 201.0

The first one probably wont happen, I have us down to lose 1 game, away at Burnley, so dont think that will happen.

Now we get to the interesting bits.

Boro are currently on a run of 9 games without conceding a goal in the Championship, which has equaled the Championship record held by Chelsea and Leeds, we have a shot at breaking that away at Bristol City this weekend who are 3rd bottom of the league.

Anyone who has seen Boro this season knows that we are a beast of a team in this division. At home, we have P13 W10 L1 GF20 GA2. The last goal we conceded at home was on the 5/9/15 against Brentford.

Obviously, we are going to concede again this season in all matches, but I think there is a shot we dont concede again at home in the league, and certainly think it is worth £10 at 201.0

Recommend £10 Boro to not concede at home for the rest of the season in the Championship with Coral

By the way...

I recognise that it is a bit of a long shot bet, but I think there is definitely a chance that it can happen, and it is worth risking a tenner on.

They would say that.

I messed about with some more figures.  If you bet £10 on a genuine 4/5 shot the return would be:

(£7.20 x 1 + £9) *.8 plus

(£7.20 x 1.5 + £9) *.1 plus

(£7.20 x 2 + £9) *.085 plus

(£7.20 x 5 + £9) *.01 plus

(£7.20 x 10 + £9) *.005

= 17.78

So the bet would win 55% of the time and that is a return of £9.78 for £10 invested.

A genuine 2-1 chance on the other hand would return £10.31 for £10 invested.

So if you can find a decent bet at odds against it seems to be ok.  However, the margins on betstars are pretty big so doesn't seem like they will make many mistakes at larger odds.

Smoggies have ten league games left at home?

Don't think I've ever backed a team to keep a clean sheet but, looking at this weekend, Hull are 4-11 to win at home and 4-6 to keep a clean sheet.

Without proper research it feels like this should be a four-figure price?

This week sees the return of competitive League of Legends.
In North American LCS, one game stands out.
Echo Fox vs Team Impulse.
http://www.oddschecker.com/e-sports/league-of-legends/echo-fox-v-team-impulse/winner

Everywhere has Echo Fox as favourite, other than Betfair Sportsbook.
Even so, nowhere has reacted to the news that Team Impulse are going to be without two of their starters who are still to receive visas.
The owner of Team Impulse tried to sell the team at the end of last split but failed, he doesn't care about the team anymore and the new roster still hasn't even been announced.
Their support player is going to have to play mid lane vs one of the most consistent mid laners in the world and I think it's going to be complete domination. A role swap vs the best just won't work.

17/20 with betfair, recommend £100.

Yep, 10 home, 11 away.

As I said, I realise its a long shot bet, but I think that there is a decent enough chance of it coming in at home. We have conceded 1 against Bristol and 1 against Brentford in the league, and that is all we have to concentrate on now, so the players should be as fresh as they can be.

Already seen off Derby, Sheff Wed and Burnley at the Riverside in recent games, Hull and Ipswich are the only teams that I think will give us trouble at our place.

How would i figure all that out tighty?
