Anyone watching Bentley on BT sport with Savage? Is he for real? Sounds and looks like he should be in TOWIE!
Fair play to him. He didn't enjoy modern football (too much like hard work) and just sacked it off at 29. Felt like a job to him. Funny listening to him. Sure a lot of other footballers think like he does. Never heard anyone actually admit it.
Benoit Assou-Ecotto by far the best of those types. Openly admitted to disliking football and just saw it as a job.
Michael Ricketts was another one. He had a kid with an betting industry guy's sister i know and as soon as he signed his monster deal at M'boro he admitted he was set for life and couldn't care less about football. Kind of showed in his rapid decline through the leagues.

Isn't Befair exchange a sad old place these days.
Used to be staple diet for those of us who like an outsider.
At Warwick I could find just 3 horses that were clear best price just a few minutes ago, yet 3 years ago anything over 16-1 with Fixed Odds would be guarenteed to be longer on Betty.
Shame.

Shame.
Fixed odds firms using horse racing as a loss leader product betting over broke on most Saturday races before the opening show in order to suck in the mugs and get them in the casino. Nothing has changed on the exchange. Everything is still bet to 100% like it always was. The only change is the aggressive nature of the books.

Then they must be more aggressive on the shorter ones, as, in the past you can be sure that some of the outsiders would be far bigger than the traditional 28/33 -1 that seems to be the max price in handicaps. Admittedly you still get the anomaly in the novice events with no hopers, but in handicaps, not so much.
Off out now, so GL all.

Most races on oddschecker are sub 100% at best (mythical)prices between the firms. If betfair went sub 100% the bots would just hoover up the overbroke money straight away so it will never happen

This wouldn't even be true if all the firms were willing to lay. There isn't a single UK race right now that is overbroke.

If they are not betting to 99% (which they might be if you take the best betfair prices on some horses on a 2% account (oddschecker shows bf prices at 5% commission as standard i would imagine a few races would be) they will be betting to unsustainable margins to make the product pay without using it as a loss leader. Not even sure oddschecker takes account of exchange prices in their best price % calculations either. That was the point i was making. I hadn't actually gone through each race individually to see the betting %'s. I was talking more bigger picture on modern firm's marketing strategy.

I'm sure that doobs' bot is just waiting to pounce on any overbroke books.

Translated;
If Stoke, down to 9 men in the first half, had beaten clueless lolzzWest Brom, (only lost by one goal) they would have won the EPL.
Can't quite recall where I read that, but it bears repeating.
