thats the thing Ant, Puncheon like so many other skilful talented players die at the hands of pardew. Remember he didnt used to rate Mascherano?
regarding points, thats what pards does, starts very well and then just crumbles. i really fear for your lot next year if you manage to hang on this year.
how many more games do you think until pardew gets fired? 5 more defeats or more/less?

I think he sees out the season even if he basically loses every game. Decent affinity with the club, and I think he would be backed to the end. Helps Pardew that he is only two wins from safety (basically) and being that well poised means he could afforded a chance even with say 4 games to go. Really hope and don't think it will come to that.
Point logged about him crumbling Pleno, I hope he can pull through and build a mid table mediocrity dynasty for eternity though.

Who is Fred on for the boxing?
McDonnell by Ko. Bazza is busy and the fight is behind a PPV wall so I'll post the result later on.
Just doing the ring walk now, will keep Fred updated.

1 round in and you can see the guy he is fighting is a loon. Just running around the ring, throwing huge wild bombs.
McDonnell looked a class act.
McDonnell knocks him down in round 2, near the end of the round though, so no KO.

This fight is bloody awful. McDonnell has no power at all by the looks of this. Just boxing and moving v a fighter who i have no clue how he has made his way to this level. Dreadful.

McDonnell wins on points. If I never see another one of his fights again in my life, it will be too soon.

The little Panamanian had never been past 8 rounds before but proved to have an excellent engine on him. Many a non elite fighter would of fatigued and been in danger of being stopped. Stopping tired opponents is something Dave Coldwell revealed they'd been working on in training.

Morning Tighty.
There is 1 super league game today with Huddersfield hosting Widnes. Huddersfield have huge injury problems and if the game was at Widnes I would be all over them, but Widnes away are not to be trusted too much. Huddersfield showed great character by almost beating Wigan last time and I think if they are to win today it will be through their pack. The bet I like is for one of their utility forwards, Ukuma Taai, to score a try at anytime.
Suggest £10 Taai @ 9/2 with Ladbrokes.

We have Wham midweek. Arsenal play Swansea.
All things being equal, though, absolutely.
