A few fair points, however, I think it's fairly irrelevant if I comment on the selection two hours after the bet has been struck or shortly after the bet recommendation, what difference would that make Tightend? Would you not place the bet after my comments on how terrible this price is?, of course you wouldn't. It's just a shocking price. it isn't aftertiming as Edmund hasn't played a match yet, aftertiming the selection being struck is a new one to me.

if these comments were put up before the bet is placed then yes they can be taken into account
of course people may not be online at that time
as it is something a little ore constructive than "shocking price" "close to the worst 16/1 shot you can get" would be helpful
I am calling you out because you are a serial offender, and its like nails on a blackboard within the ethos of this thread

Yes because the last time I was shot down left, right and centre on that Japanese player, unfairly in my opinion. Point taken Tightend.

What price you make Ferrer v Edmund Weetabix? I asked around and the general view amongst the judges i know is he will be a 1/2 poke. Any bigger than they will be backing him.

I can see why your mates would want to hammer him any bigger than 1/2, can't see 1/2 even. Could be wrong here but 1.4 wouldn't surprise me at all. Having said that he went off at a ridiculously short price v pella in the Davis cup match and destroyed. Your in the know guys may be closer to the mark than me but 1/2 is too big.

He is around a 1/2 shot to beat this marchenko and after that he is the underdog right the way through. Ferrer is way past his best but played pretty well last week before Murray took him apart as usual. Even if he shocked ferrer he still has tricky matches v seppi/delbonis then likely Simon who will just toy with him. Do you not agree this is close to the worst 16/1 shot on a tennis tournament you can get? It really is a shocking price.
its much better to comment constructively in the time between recommendation and placing the bet (here, two hours) please
exaggeration doesn't help much either. i am fairly certain we've had worse bets.
as it is aftertiming the criticism isn't as helpful as you think it is. Especially if repeated, as you do it frequently
Pretty certain my buy of Charlton points last season was worse than this if it helps

I know Fred can't get on with PP but the 16s on Adam Scott in the CIMB Classic looks a real each way gift for anyone that can. Happy to elaborate if anyone wants.

Edmund has some really great hard court form over the past month or two.Last two players to beat him are Wawrinka and Murray. Yes he lost in Davis Cup, but that atmosphere/pressure is different to the regular circuit. He definitely could win the tournament but I'd worry about tiredness as he has played a lot of games this season. He is also in the tougher half of the draw. Definitely not a terrible bet imo. Not gonna back him myself at that price. But I would be delighted if he goes far...
Finding it tough to look past Goffin myself. Needs the points for rankings, easier draw, home tournament. But I'm struggling to back him at that price. I've had a couple of each way banzais from the very weak second section of the draw...

Indeed it is different to the normal circuit but we are taking about Kyle Edmund here, he has won absolutely nothing to date and I don't understand how he can be priced at 16/1. I don't know why you think he can win this tournament when all he has done is play in challenger finals. Goffin, ferrer and Simon would have to break a leg for Edmund to win this, so if that's a 16/1 punt good luck to those who have followed the tip. Gasquet is probably in the worst form of his career and he may have to go through him also if he is in any sort of form. I understand you aren't taking the bet but just a few thoughts I have on Edmunds chances.

He beat Gasquet at Flushing Meadows in straight sets. He also beat Bautista Agut a couple of weeks ago. This is not a top class field (Goffin is hot favourite for god sake and he hasn't won anything for a few years I think!). There are three tournaments this week and a number of the very top guys are having the week off, so fields are thinly spread. Obviously he will be a dog vs Ferrer, but the quarter final he could even be a favourite (Seppi tried to throw his match away today). Personally I think he might run out of gas after going through qualifying two weeks in a row in China.
Who is your pick for Antwerp or any of the three events this week Weetabix?
