I got an e-mail alert for a PM today - first time in over six months - I reckon Tikay must have been under the bonnet.

In other news Kevin Na is well of the pace after round one.

couple of questions

in his form of last night, is Peter Wright at 9/2 interesting?

Seen it was 16 elsewhere, pitch invasion last season, closed game punishment.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_UK_Open

top 32 seeded don't enter until 32 left out in the event so its not a straight open draw from the off.

Has andersons odds even changed?

Best of 17 legs is a decent length format for all the major seeds to get through 5 rounds without much variance.

i am not around tomorrow, so will be up to tikay if bets come in after first thing

would dearly love to improve our boxing record, lots of good judges (i have always felt) not really the results to match.

I remember looking a few days ago and can't check as on phone but thought Anderson was same odds now as what he was before mvg pulled out. Mvg was like 4/5 or sometbing, Anderson 7/2 seems big

I certainly wouldn't want to be laying it.  It is his 'home town' event as well so he will be sleeping in his own bed all weekend as well from last night (prem league was 60 miles down the road in Exeter) which has to be an advantage as well when all the other big boys would have been stuck in a B&B somewhere in Minehead or a Butlins chalet!

Drawn Paul Hogan in the 3rd round.  Nice easy warm up into the last 16.  Jackpot v Machine in the pick of the 3rd round games which assists Ando even more.  Taylor isn't playing this event either.

Womens Golf a little bit meh.

Sei Young Kim shot a 67 today and is T7 three shots behind Inbee Park who is -10. Moirya Jutanugarn shot even today and is T22 with -3. Stacy Lewis is on the same score after shooting +1 today. Only nine people shot worse, one of which was Lexi Thompson who shot a 76?

I'm watching extended highlights now but haven't seen any of Lexis game as yet.

Couple of good players at the top with Park and Ariya Jutanugarn one behind. Michelle Wie also up there after a year or so in the wilderness. She has a really strange set up and also one of the shortest skirts on tour.

World No. 1 Lydia Ko is also on -7 and someone I was hoping would take a couple of weeks to bed in, Sung Hyun Park, on -8.

Park is an amazing Golfer. Seven starts on the LPGA tour last year as an amateur, four top ten finishes including a T2 and T3 in the US Open. This is her first start as a Pro and she's shot a pair of 68's.

Awesome swing. I was kinda hoping she was going to ease herself in and we would get some great odds on her. No chance now.

Hopefully Kim can shoot low on the weekend and the younger Jutanugarn can slide into the top ten. Will post again on Sunday.

Later.

Sunderland vs Man City on Sunday.

Heading over again to PadPow's anytime assist market. Not as much value in Sane this time at 2/1 (though wouldn't put anyone off backing him at the moment), but Aguero is an absolute joke at 13/2, which is the same price as Sagna lol

No Jesus so I really can't see Aguero not starting despite the slight fixture pile up we have in March (he was subbed vs Hudds presumably with this game in mind). Seems churlish to point out but Sunderland are generally appalling and can leak goals for fun, whereas we are finding the net fairly frequently at the moment and can't envisage anything other than an attacking 4-3-3 line up and going at them from the first whistle.

Aguero can be 'selfish' but he's always involved in the final 3rd action, of which there should be plenty all being well. Play this game 6 and a half times, how many assists does he get?

I won't do an Arb and say unload the truck Smiley but it looks well worth a punt.

Ps realise fred will need help with this.
