chompy?

Eurovision odds: Italy 8/5 Portugal 9/4 Bulgaria 9/2 Belgium 20/1 Sweden 35/1 UK 45/1

All the odds: http://bit.ly/1QRXlPx

The thing about one of the big 5 being favourite is that they are untested in combat, having not had to compete in the semi-final. A few years ago Italy started the Sat night as favourite and yet finished nowhere.

Good call value wise but I just don't see where our next win is coming from as a Watford fan even if they chuck in a few kids.

We've got F1 (Spain) and FE (Monaco) this weekend. Hadn't made any suggestions so far as there were no good spots about, but had a quick market check this morning and found a couple of decent prices.

F1 Bets:

Race Winner - Sebastian Vettel @ 17/4 with Stars. Mercedes appear to have the outright pace over one lap this weekend, but Ferrari should be in the hunt if they get a good start in the race, 17/4 is a little higher than I expected to see. Suggest £20.

https://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/spanish-grand-prix/winner

Pole Position - Valtteri Bottas @ 2/1 with Betfred/Coral. Valtteri and Lewis have been close all weekend, 2/1 is a dumb price. Suggest £30.

I spotted this last nigt from a Barca journalist

" Rafael Hernández‏ @RafaelH117

Ernest Valverde will be Barcelona’s next coach from June onwards. He was chosen ahead of Unzue. "

which would be nice as we have a tenner at 33-1 on him

Formula E bets:

(all Sky Bet, only bookie)

Race Winner - Sebastien Buemi @ 6/4. It's unlikely that we'll see anyone else taking the win but him today. Over EVS is far too high. Suggest £100.

Race Winner - Felix Rosenqvist @ 10/1. Always there or there abouts under normal circumstances. Only has one podium to his name so far in Formula E, which is probably why his price is 10/1, but if you look at his baseline performance, we should be looking at a price more like 4/1. Suggest £50 EW (1/5 1-3).

https://www.skybet.com/motor-sport/formula-e

Note: I was heavily limited on both.

Quietly, boringly & efficiently, Chelsea have won the EPL in an absolute canter, hard held.

Not been much noise on blonde as we don't have many Chelsea supporters here. (A spotty adolescent who I speak with from time to time tells me the correct term is "Chelski", as in those equally ridic nicks "Citeh" , "Manure" etc).

Leaving aside all that for now, Tighty has written a stunningly good piece this week in his Betting Emporium column which appends Road to Riches.

Strongly recommended, it really is a great read and an interesting take on Chelsea's facile win.

Corals, Hills and Ladbrokes all mugging customers with 1/5 first 5 in the Victoria Cup.  Only the 24 runners to work through.  No thanks.

Heavily reduced running for Valtteri in FP3 due to an engine problem will more than likely ruin the pole bet Sad

With Fred being on Leicester today, is there any value for a small dabble in the 'Leicester win and BTTS' market as well? Unless we think the foxes are gonna nit up a 1-0 victory, which seems unlikely.

Almost as spottily adolescent as referring to someone as "Conky" who by a strange coincidence happens to be a chelski fanboy.
