I think honestly tonights the night that the Norris run good comes to an end....

Recommend -3.5 @ 1/1 (365, coral) or -4.5 5/4 (365, sportingbet, vc)

Hopefully Lewis' bionic back can repeat his Rob Cross performance!

Interesting practice sessions yesterday for the Hungarian GP, have a few bets to recommend.

Pole Position - Daniel Ricciardo @ 5/1 with various. Red Bull appear to be very quick on this circuit, as expected. The question is will Mercedes beat them when they hit the "qualifying mode" button. What speaks volumes for me is that Red Bull are playing down their upgrades, historically when they've done that, they've taken a big step forward. Suggest £20.

https://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/hungarian-grand-prix/pole-position

Pole Position - Sebastian Vettel @ 5/1 with Bet365. They're offering EW top three (1/5), that's effectively EVS on the top three with a freeroll for pole. Insta-max bet.

https://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/hungarian-grand-prix/pole-position

Top Six Finish - Esteban Ocon @ 11/4 with various. At the last race in Britain, Esteban beat Sergio during a race whilst also scoring points for the first time this season. I believe that will be a turning point for him and I now somewhat expect him to be consistently beating Sergio. Esteban is still developing as a driver whereas Sergio is not, at least not to the same extent .. it's the classic youth vs experience scenario, and it seems to me that we've reached the cross over point. It's also worth noting that the Hungaroring is Esteban's best/favourite circuit. Suggest £40. This of course does need an issue for one car ahead.

Race Winner - Daniel Ricciardo @ 4/1 & Max Verstappen @ 6/1 both with Bet365. These aren't the best prices out there, but Bet365 are going EW top three (1/5)! Suggest £20 EW on Daniel, £10 EW on Max.

Meanwhile it's the title deciding weekend for Formula E in Montreal.

We've got odds for today's ePrix from two bookies, and based on recent performances, I can't look past the great Mahindra prices. Suggestions are:

Race Winner - Felix Rosenqvist @ 5/1. Suggest max bet EW (1/5 1-3).
Race Winner - Nick Heidfeld @ 9/1. Suggest £20 EW (1/5 1-3).

Next season I'm hoping to have more bookies to choose from once I've pleaded with the other firms to put up markets.

I see Joleyn Palmer had another bad day at the office yesterday.

Good times/bad times: Jolyon Palmer posted good times in the morning before crashing and damaging a new component on his car. Then, come the afternoon he just plain crashed

If our drunken spider is around, we could use him today - the 3pm @ Ascot is a 28 runner handicap, currently 7/1 the field. Place odds vary, generally 5 places quarter odds or 6 places one fifth odds.
