The Rowley Mile is effectively two courses. Yesterday they were on the far-side half with the stalls on the far side.
Today they're on the stands'-side half with the stalls on the stands' side.
The only time the draw matters when they're stands' side, stands' side is when it's soft. It won't be today. There might be a rail bias or a centre bias but it can't be predicted pre-meeting.
Because of the shitty terms with most layers there's no each-way value. Unless you can get the fifth four spots with 365 (nobody can if they want an account to last) or PP (nobody can full stop). In which case Listen's pair and Kameko are all good.
Not bad fella. Neil Channing put up Kameko too. Mine must have been about last.

Good call Chompy.
Oisin Murphy gave Kameko a hell-of-a-ride - bravely through the half-shut door. An other for the red hot Balding stable, too.

Can't take too much credit here tbh, was just playing the race shape as much as anything. I liked the confidence on the machine behind the winner though. As O'Sheen said Balding never overcooks them at home and this one will only improve again. He won't stay 1m4f though.
Lol Betfair. So dead now. IR is pathetic considering there's no other sport. Lack of proper live pics can't be overcome unfortunately. Punters aren't that stupid. Not even Clive Owen can turn this one round.

Well done guysđź‘Ť. Fastest Guineas ever, interesting. Maybe quieter times ahead for the trials in future years? Or is that reading too much in to it?

Think many of the 2,000 Guineas trials have been reducing in stature for a while. I used to really look forward to the Craven each year, but can't say I missed it this year.
We are going ot be spoilt for a bit with Royal Ascot in a couple of weeks.

King’s Theatre in the Craven would be one of my first decent sized bets and a great early racing memory. Looking forward to Ascot, ’ll be putting the hours in.

To my eye Pinatubo looked like the most likely to stay further from today's race.
I have dabbled on the generous-looking 33/1ew for The Derby.
Am I bonkers?

It is going for the St James Palace, so don't see it coming out for the Derby. Think it is too soon to write it off. First race of the season and plenty have been beaten in the Guineas and crushed afterwards.

Confirmation expected shortly that League 1 season has been curtailed.. as it stands Coventry & Rotherham will be promoted with Tranmere relegated to League 2.
League 2 has today been stopped, with Swindon as Champions
I have a goal-scorer bet that has copped ante-post, the each way part anyway
Has there been any confirmation on how these divisions will be settled?

Just the 18 L1 clubs decided not to carry on then.
Farce that they were allowed to decide in the first place.
No idea what's going to happen with bets as yet. Same as with Covid, expect the worst and hope for the best.
Two decent bets on Ivan top L1 scorer, Posh for promotion, Posh top six, Posh to make the play-offs. Fk knows what's going to happen.

Since everyone loves unweighted PPG so much you'd hope they'd apply the same logic to seasonal goal bets. 80+ should then be paid as a winner.
My levels of fumming haven't been this high in the long time.
Could be worse though, could be a Tranmere fan.
