It is not that rare for me to find some of the things bookmakers do amusing or even just draw droppingly stupid but this latest one truly amazes me.......as they went over the third from home in the RSA Chase I got an unsolicited call from Betfair.....first thing the guy asks me is "Is now a good time to talk?".....

I've picked the first 3 winners 10£ ew 4 fold accumulator and a 50 p ew lucky 15 need big zeb for 6 k? Score gl me

I didn't let them get that far but I doubt it was as I haven't bet with them this festival which is no doubt what the call was about.  Also my mother answered the phone and came in saying "it is Anthony from Betfair"....surely that is -EV for a betting firm to identify thmselves when a female answers the phone....obv doesn't bother me at all but can imagine a large number of punters would be very pissed off.
