WSOP 2012 Schedule is announced at 1pm ET today, 6pm UK time

Already it is rumoured that the November Nine is No more....

Tweets over the last few days include

    The 43rd Annual WSOP will take place from May 27 to July 16, 2012 at @RioVegas. Full schedule comes at 1 PM ET Wednesday.

    A few hints on WSOP schedule coming tomorrow...you won't find the November Nine returning.

    For the 2012 WSOP, an expected 470 poker tables will be utilized...nearly 100 more than last year!

    Another good change coming to WSOP in 2012...no off day during Main Event

Mix max is

Full ring day 1, 6m day 2 and hu day 3

Shorter M/E with 3 start days and no day off on completion of day 1

Stud, Stud 8 and 08 championships have been lowered to 5k b/i

I am all for the no day off thing.  It wasn't the fact you could play for 3 days for no money that tilted, it was the fact those 3 days took 7 or 8 days to complete.  There was way too much hanging round waiting to bust my short stack last time I played it.

Does anyone know if the O8 championship is limit or pot limit?

Yeah why do a rebuy when you can get extra juice, not that it makes it any better but apparently all other WSOP tourneys on the Circuit are one per day 1

Its just a way to change a comp from "1 rebuy" etc, where the house cant charge anything for the second bullet. Its ridiculous tbh.

I hate the fact DTD are turning all their comps into re-entry for the above reason. Dont get me wrong, I think its a great idea for the house. I just think its taking the piss.
