Strong rumour going round that Sam Tomkins is out for tonight's game (and for the final if Wigan win tonight). Not sure if it's accurate or not, but it's gathering momentum.
Would be a bit of a leveller if he is.

Wigan comprehensively outplayed during the first half. Look a bit clueless and it's been easy for Leeds. No attacking threat from Wigan so far, and no pressure on Sinfield allowing him to play his kicking game. The way to beat Leeds, especially when McGuire is missing, is to pressure Sinfield - like Warrington did in the CC final. But Wigan aren't even close to doing that so far.
Wigan seem to be missing Tomkins more than Leeds are missing McGuire.

I'll agree that the commentators are rubbish though. Not biased towards Wigan though - Eddie hates Wigan. |
