Can't believe that second telly long-exposure. You should blow that up and canvas it, stuff like that sells.

Thats a very fine picture considering it was taken by a girlie. Far better than logs & fag ends.

Now I know this is going to sound really daft, but when I when I saw this photo, the main thing that struck me was what looks like the out of focus head of a little boy with a crew cut peeping over the log! laugh if you want but I can see his eyebrows and the tips of his ears and everything.

I know people are conditioned to see faces in things, so please tell me if anyone else can see it!

Or am I going mental........ idiot

??

BTW, if it helps, I'm mental too.
Geo
Lol, So pleased you can see him too!

As well as taking decent shots, the image manipulation can be as important as the shooting of the shot itself.

Using Photoshop for basic stuff is relatively simple to learn, but to get the other 80% out of it takes a hell of a lot of time and effort.

This bloke's obviously pretty nifty with it, taking B&W photos and adding colour:

Nothing wintry has inspired me so far this month so I'll only add this one from a couple of years ago

Mainly I was trying to capture the snow falling - anybody got any hints about how to do that better?
