Sideways passing, terrible ball retention, terrible movement off the ball, massive gap between back 4 and front 6 when in possession. Ramsey average last year, worse this year & regressed to the rubbish he was plying 4 years ago. Schoolboy defending at all times by the back 4 and midfield. Without Cazorla we have no-one to start things off and link up the team, no composure.  This man united side is woeful but so are we ...even scoring 2 goals at OT we lose......Wenger & Bould...wt fuckity f. That has to be one of the most depressing performances I've ever seen by Arsenal given the context

Long live AW. Let him keep the job forever more.

Haha, get the arrogant idiot out before he destroys his legacy more than he already has

(line pinched from a mates FB rant)

Years of it. However. Some will never recognise this and just try to ridicule/belittle those of us that saw it coming years ago.

Its just so F***ing sad.

Walcott and Rambo have obviously been tapped-up.

Shambolic performance and predictable "I told you so" from Adz.

Incredible to think that Walcott gets paid £100k a week despite really never having displayed anything more than Championship level talent throughout his career.

His new 4-year contract signed last year is worth £140K per week.

Adz is a big fan however..

Walcott if became available would be of interest to every side in the league

Not sure, Rotherham, MK Dons or Huddersfield could afford his wages...

Poor old Ralph. Never once answered a question, just keeps trying to dish it though. Why can't old people ever admit to being vaguely wrong?

I think if Walcott was treated less like a bit part player all his career, he would do better. He has proved it in the past during periods of others injuries, but as soon as they are fit, he is back to playing out of position and as a part timer.

He would be a sad loss.

Others wouldn't

For me Walcott has the talent but lacks big game tempermant and passion. He just doesn't seem to give a shit. Look at someone like Vardy- talented but he has that extra % because he really wants it. Maybe they're a product of their environment. Vardy having to battle to play at the top level- Walcott handed it at 16

Poor old Adz.

Anyone who doesn't agree with him is a member of The Flat Earth Society.

I'm not exactly sure what the "it" is that I supposedly do not get, other than the fact that "Wenger Out" is the solution to all of Arsenal's problems.

Arsene will decide when it's time to go and I have complete faith in him to pick the right moment, as I consider him a far better judge than either of us when it comes to football, Arsenal, and most things in life.

I am a lifelong Arsenal fan and a diehard supporter.

You may be a fan but I wouldn't describe you as a supporter.

So gutted. As much as i appreciate him more than most even i can't see how Wenger can justify another year at the club now. It was all building up to something and this had to be his year. It HAD to be. But alas, one way or another it's been fucked up under his wing. Might not be totally his fault, but impossible he doesn't assume the lion share of the responsibility.

If he couldn't do it this season, i've lost faith in him being able to do it next season. He's also pretty old. Hate to say it, but Wenger out.

Ralph.

There are 100+ pages of this thread. On many occasions I have admitted I have been wrong, and seen another point of view. Its not a crime to admit you are wrong, or may not be right.

You have done none of the above. You have never once, even considered AW is past his best and we could be doing better under someone else.

I support my team through every minute of every game. I am gutted after each game we drop points. After a game I will often put forward my view.

If being blind to to the fact we could potentially do better under someone else makes you a better fan/supporter than me, we have different metrics.

I admire your blind loyalty, the same way my Dad sticks stoically to the same mantra as you. Both are decent fellows I keep falling out with about the same topic. Its a shame.

This may come as a surprise to you Adz but it's actually you that doesn't get "it" and it's rather presumptuous of you to tell me what I have or haven't considered just because I choose not to air all of my private views on here.

I am not afflicted by either blindness or "blind loyalty", and I am as aware as anyone that Arsene and this particular Arsenal squad has it's failings but I do have a huge amount of respect for the man and what he has built at Ashburton Grove and achieved at AFC. I trust him and his motives implicitly and I am happy to leave it to him to decide when the time is right to step aside for a younger man.

I simply choose not to join in with the regular witch-hunt after each defeat.

PS Could you please highlight all of those times when you admitted that you were wrong as I'm struggling to remember any.

Fair enough Ramsey and Flamini doesn't work at all but that should be the last game we're ever forced to endure it. Otherwise (with the exception of Theo) everyone played pretty decently, we got unlucky in some spots and their keeper had an absolute dream of a game. We would have won this game by 2 or 3 another day.

Piers Morgan is just a pleb. Liverpool and Spurs have spent no lack of money, as have Man U in recent times - that's led to great results hasn't it? Not to mention his tweet stops short before mentioning who he would buy exactly, like what happens on Football Manager on the PC can somehow also happen in real life too.

I don't think we are playing that bad tbh.

Always man enough to admit when I am wrong though, and I have said on here I thought with Walcott and Giroud we had the firepower to knock over games like last night. General fan opinion was against me on that, and it's clear  to me now, we do need more up front.
However, someone else should have admitted this too and acted.
I don't buy this, who is out there etc? We have enough money that everyone is out there!

Didn't have to go back very far.

The whole point is, if someone had said at the start of the season 'Look Arsene, I'm going to arrange for all the top clubs to fuck about and by Mid Feb, it will be you Leicester and 5pur2  as the main contenders. I'm gifting you this opportunity. So, you can do what you normally do and accept a Top3/4 place in the League and your usual edit from Europe in the last 16, and stick to your guns and keep trying to add a single player to the team that consistently underperforms.OR you can actually listen to all those people(yes, clearly they don't know as much as you, as you have been there and done it and get paid millions for doing so) and shore up that dodgy defence and buy a recognised top flight goal scorer.

The choice is yours  Mr Wenger. You have the funds, and we don't mind if you spend them, but if you don't spend them and we fuck it up, don't come crying to me when the fans get on your case again, because to be honest Mr Wenger, it's more deja vu, than even Bill Murray could stand'.

' Yes Mr Wenger. I said Leicester, and Tottenham'

' No Mr Wenger, Jose isn't in charge of either of them'......
