Arsenal worked hard and gave Barcelona a good fight for 70 minutes of that game. Then we got caught on the break by the best front 3 in the world. I'm happy with how well they fought for the majority though, would have backed us to get something at some point.
The right hand side is an issue at the moment. Ox and Walcott have been massive disappointments this season when really both of them should be firing us to the title. As it is i would like Cazorla back so Ramsey can play there again (never thought i'd be saying that). I would also be happy if i never saw Flamini in an Arsenal shirt ever again.

thought the tactics were right, but a few notably oxlade-c on the counter, mertesacker caught in possession, flamini as soon as he came on really let the tactics down
don't often see wenger go at his team as he did afterwards

of course there is a huge gulf in class, but you could argue that with £200m in the bank the gap could be closer, if the players were bought...
world class striker anyone? world class defensive midfielder anyone?
but i think we've done that one to death!

Per Mertesacker insists Arsenal’s problem is up front, not in defence.

Sideways passing, terrible ball retention, terrible movement off the ball, massive gap between back 4 and front 6 when in possession. Ramsey average last year, worse this year & regressed to the rubbish he was plying 4 years ago. Schoolboy defending at all times by the back 4 and midfield. Without Cazorla we have no-one to start things off and link up the team, no composure. This man united side is woeful but so are we ...even scoring 2 goals at OT we lose......Wenger & Bould...wt fuckity f. That has to be one of the most depressing performances I've ever seen by Arsenal given the context

Same old same old wasn't it?
Sanchez without a doubt is knackered, a result of Wenger rushing him back earlier this season when he was supposed to be having a break.

Yes I guess it was in many ways. Already depressed in advance for how bad the crushing will be at spurs. We've had a a lot of average games this year but I think Spurs were the only team that outplayed us more or less start to finish so far. They have continued to improve and have bags of desire and we are sliding massively (performance wise if not really showing in the table in this awful season).
I feel like such a whinger but today was like the peak of shiteness and a new peak is around the corner. At least spurs are a good side though so the new peak may be more tolerable.
