Can you imagine if Fergie was still around this season? United would be 38 points clear
lol, probably true

OOohhh the Wenger-out brigade are going to be out in force tonight.
It's getting harder to defend him that's for sure.
Same old story
Because he won't splurge loads of money? As a Liverpool fan, I used to be hacked off at Benitez's constant squad rotation, but look at the success we've had since he has gone...sometimes you don't know how good you've got it (until it's gone). How many seasons are United going to really struggle for? That could be Arsenal. For years.
it has been Arsenal for years, we've not seriously competed to win the Prem for years.
He doesn't necessarily have to go and spend all what he's got to spend but he must recognise that we are lacking behind. We have a
big German
hole in defence and we can't score goals, yet he signs a keeper and is reportedly looking at more midfielders. Perhaps he's looking at midfield for replacements for Sanchez and Ozil when they bugger off because they've realised they're not likely to win more than the FA Cup where they are. He probably doesn't need to be replaced, he needs to understand footy has moved on.

Pat Jennings would've collected that free kick one handed. Lehman would've cleared up everything in front of him. I'm adding Cech to my clear out list - so far I've got rid of so many I'm only left with Monreal, Koscielny and Ozil for next season

So we basically lost one point in this round against one of our bogey teams.
Chins up lads, things have been far worse and almost certainly will be for a good few years after Arsene decides that it's time to give someone else a go at being manager.
We did hit the woodwork three times too and we all know what running bad is like.
Well almost all..

It is incredibly strange that so many first team players are out of sorts at the same time. Alexis, Walcott, Ox, Mertesacker, Coquelin and Ramsey are all playing way worse than usual. What's going on??

Yes let's blame the fact we're not very good at poker on running bad. It hurts less. Variance.

I do like your ability to put positive spin minutes after a home Swansea defeat at a key time. I salute your outlook

delusional. 1-0 up, opposition manager in hospital, it's just far to benign to blame running bad.

Hey Ralph, lets leave it to Liverpool fans to count hitting the woodwork as somehow a victory. Swansea as a bogey team used to be quite good. Now they are shite and they beat us at home - it's a fackin crisis mate.

I fail to see what the opposition manager being in hospital has to do with the price of fish or anything else for that matter, unless of course it was a la "one time for the gipper".
I can only imagine what your opinion would be had your lot hit the woodwork thrice.
It's not as doomy and gloomy as the usual naysayers will suggest, we're six points behind a team that is likely to start feeling a lot of pressure in the run-in and there are 30(thirty) points available.
Yes we have been playing poorly but we are certainly capable of doing better(I hope that's not too delusional) and I like to support my team in times of trouble rather than castigate them and the manager which seems to be the more fashionable option.

We hit the woodwork three times last night, we will feel no pressure. Can lose every game from here and its still a great season. Arsenal have won three games since Christmas, it's indefensible

I don't get why Rafa's reign is so loved by Liverpool fans. Cos they fluked a CL? What else did he really achieve?
Wasn't even Rafa's team that won it, it was Houlliers.
