Not panic buys, very smart by Wenger.
Let them do pre-season somewhere else so less likely to fall foul of Arsenals injury curse. He really is one step ahead.

Shit post Nakor, such a clown.

Hardly unfair coverage
They did pass on Perez which suggests he was way down the pecking order to start with

Any doubts I had about my stance on AW has just been totally put to bed.
I have just played golf with a guy that had been a Tottenham fan/member/ticket holder since a boy.
Last home game he was in the Directors area and had his usual chat with Mr Leavy.
It seems one that has been hushed up is that AW made a bid in the last few weeks for Harry Kane!
Anyone care to have a guess how much we offered?

Was it based on Premier League Kane or Euro '16 Kane??

Good point VL, but even I have given him the benefit of the doubt.
£38m, which in the current climate, I thought was an insult, even for a Cock..rell.
AW doesn't have a clue as to what it takes does he.

Was this the same bloke who gave you the fitness update on Chris Wood?

Love a good Wenger natter but there's just no way that happened. Surely that would have got out somewhere? If nothing else, Spurs would have relished the chance to leak it to the press.
He might be out of touch but he's not Brendan Rodgers.

I did question that, but he was adamant, and I never known him bullshit before(although he does say that Spurs are better than the Arse?!). Said DL wasn't even diplomatic with his reply to the offer.
Still, it gives Ralph something to have a free pop at me about.

Not bitter at all - just not taken in by another obviously bullshit story which lends credence to your view.

FWIW I did hear from a reliable source a couple of months ago that spurs had received contact from a premier league club about Kane, but that club wasn't Arsenal. The price I was given was also a snap-rejection. Possible the stories have been conflated over the summer or Mr Levy was being mischievous...

Both stories reported in good faith.
I'm so sorry I don't agree with you on this, but lets be honest you are one of the very few left that still think AW has what it takes. Just because we don't agree there is no need to really get stuck in whenever the opportunity arises.
You are one of a couple of people from Blonde that when I met them in person, I thought were genuinely nice chaps, and like the other one, have subsequently shown yourself to be a real keyboard warrior when people don't agree with you.
I post lots of things I hear about on various Blonde threads, by the very nature of passing on second hand info, some may turn out to be wide of the mark. The Chris Wood info about his neck being better, turned out that he hurt his neck during the first round. Not sure how that turns out to be bullshit, when he felt well enough to start. Am I supposed to ensure that he keeps healthy after declaring himself fit?
I could use some tasty language to tell you what I think of you right now, I don't appreciate being called a liar, and if your aim was to wind me up, you have succeeded. Thank you Ralph. I'm sure it has made your weekend.

Very pleasing performance today with so many positives especially the first half.
Xhaka is an absolute beast and Ozil is a sublime footballer.
In Arsene We Trust.
