important we dont get smashed by chelsea this weekend or the wenger out boys will be on his back instantly

They haven't gone away, they are just in pre season training.

It's been a very productive pre season, with AW providing us with plenty of ammo to measure this season's level of hopelessness.

Even at 12-1, I can't find the stupidity to back us this year.

Sad times indeed.

What haven't you liked? Guessing the ongoing contract sagas?

On the brighter side I've been pretty impressed with his resolve to keep Sanchez, honestly I didn't expect it. Kolasnic and Lacazette seem to be good bits of business. If we do sell a few players who are surplus and get in Lemar or a CM I'll be pretty satisfied.

Not sure how a bloke so intent on not spending money(I presume because he has an eye on the bottom line) has let so many of our top players reach a point where we will get jack shit for them next year, when they can all leave on a free, effectively costing us millions.

It makes absolutely no sense at all. But nothing he says or does, anymore.......

He pretty much has to win the title this year for me to feel that he has not totally f**ked us over these last few years with his attitude to bringing in players/selling players/players contracts.

Cech

Bellerin Holding/Chambers Mustafi/Mertesacker Monreal Kolasinac

Xhaka Ramsay

Ozil Iwobi

Lacazette

Not clear who's match fit at centre back, Koscielny suspended. Not sure on Iwobi but it's who I'd go with.

This would be in the early years of Lord Wenger's tenure.

I thought we played well today and deserved the win - Kolasinac is an absolute beast and a much-needed injection of power into the team.

Alexis, Ozil, Kos and Rambo to come back in too.

Highlight of the penalty shootout was definitely Courtois absolutely Waddling one into the stands and diving the wrong way for all of ours.

Xhaka completed 98/98 passes today - the first player with 100% pass-completion (over 80 passes) at Wembley.

Last season it was a case of six into four won't go.

This season it almost feels to me like the top six has split in two. You have the Manchester clubs and Chelsea being talked up as title contenders and then the North London clubs and Liverpool as top four being the minimum, but a sustained title challenge being a bonus/ unexpected, although this is potentially unfair on Spurs.

Would you be happy with Wenger playing the second string in the Europa League, up until the QF say, and prioritising the league? Seems like this could give you an edge over the Champs League teams no?
