Looks like everyone is going crazy for the UKIPT satellite tonight, can we reach 4 seats??

Don't forget the 10 seats guaranteed in the 150 Deepstack MEGA SAT tonight! Only 17 registered so far = value!!

Brilliant Rob, this has convinced me & a couple of friends who probably wouldn't have bothered to travel down for it. I know there's a very good chance it would have got to a Million prize pool without the guarantee, but you should be commended for putting your neck out there and helping to build an even bigger buzz than there already was around this event.

What are people's recommendations for a hotel? I seen Britannia and Holiday Inn are close by, how close? Prefer to be able to walk to the casino, but bringing car so it's not a major issue.

Pleased to confirm that blonde Poker will be live updating all six days of this

Thanks to DTD and Poker Stars for giving their permission

It's a daunting one, six days solo and 1400+ runners, but will give it my best shot

Benefits to traffic, sign ups etc should be big. That's the plan

Wow was goner post some basics questions but not sure if I should now Sad  I did read through the thread and hence came across the lovely post  above.  Some of us have never played an event of this magnitude and will need help with some basic questions, after all I guess you all want newbies like me to attend,  my highest ever live buy in to date is £30 .
So some basic questions, being positive that I am going to win Smiley I assume if I win through on day one Wed I wait until the day 2 on Saturday ect, so on  thu, fri, are there other side events?  Does DTD run any or are they be fully occupied with the main event.  This may obv dictate which day I travel up  from Kent on.  So in short I suppose I am asking what other things may be going on during the down time.
Also roughly what time would each day finish, and deffo some help on the event finish time because I have work on the Monday and would need to make arrangements for when  I FT the event Smiley
I have other questions will try to research them myself, but please don't put us dead money players off its already daunting enough.

Regards
Steve

Using gmap pedometer I make the Brit a 2 mile walk along the canal.

Thanks for your comments, glad you are able to come. Dusk Till Dawn always appreciate the support from our players, without them we would never be able to set these guarantees let alone make them.

The closest hotel is Travel Lodge Riverside which is located at Castle Marina and is walking distance, perhaps a good 20mins walk but it's one straight road onto the industrial estate. We also have a deal with a few hotels such as the Park Plaza so may be worth having a look here - http://www.dusktilldawnpokerclub.com/accommodation.php

One big tip is to book early as hotels sell out quick in Nottingham, if you need any assistance in finding a hotel let us know we are always happy to help.

Echo all that^^

Try also Premier Inn Nottingham South, less than a 5 minute drive away and whilst basic, you can get £50-55 a night if you book early enough

Hi Steve,
Of course we will not put you off, infact one of our regular £15 players recently won a seat into our £500 Deepstack and ended up winning the event and he still doesn't know how...so beginners luck might just be with you.

You can choose to play from any of the 3 day 1's. Wednesday 11th, Thursday 12th or Friday 13th April all at 12noon and those remaining after the end of the levels played on day 1 will make it through to day 2 which will start at 12noon on Saturday 14th all chips will also be carried over. There is a day 3 on Sunday and a final day on Monday 16th which unfortunately we cannot guarantee what time that will finish.

In answer to you side events question, yes there will be side events running all week and I will attach the full schedule below so that you can see exactly what is happening, some side events may stretch over 2 days but this will be noted on the schedule.

if you have any other questions you can post them on here (others may be looking for the same answers) or feel free to Private message me or email me at nicola@dusktilldawnpoker.com with a long list of questions Wink
