Ok, we ended up with 1625 players, 207 will get paid out of the £1,137,500 prizepool and the winner will take home £210,400. Today we have the £2000 Hi Roller, looks like it will end on 50 players, a lot of the bigger players have taken the weekend off as they are going to Berlin.

the £300 will start with 180 players and with late reg should make 270 - 300. We stopped the Main Event to watch the G...rand National and there was a brilliant atmosphere for the 400 players in the club.

Tomorrow we have Day 3 of the Main, Day 2 of the Hi Roller and £300, at 1pm a £200 PLO, 4pm a £100 Charity NL and at 8pm a £150 NL Turbo.

At one point we had 27 cash games last night, at 3pm we still had 15, all 55 tables will be in use again tonight when the Main Event ends and we can seat all the alternates for the £300, how are we going to top this next year?

Cheers

I am so proud of what we have achieved this week, every department at Dusk Till Dawn worked so hard and put in 200% both in effort and hours. it has been a pleasure to work alongside all of them and with all the Poker Stars staff who have also worked incredibly hard.

It was only 6 weeks ago the Nottingham leg of the UKIPT announced the £1,000,000 guarantee, having already crushed the previous record for biggest field in the first season that we already held of 650 with a whopping 1058 it was still a huge ask to go for 1428 players when the buy in had been increased from £560 to £770 but from day 1 both Poker Stars and Dusk Till Dawn believed we could do it and worked tirelessly promoting the event.

It captured the imagination and aspirations of players not just in the UK but across Europe too, as a result 1625 players turned up and after nearly 4 and a half years of running the biggest fields we yet again ran a seamless event breaking another of our in house records by having 6 tournaments being run simultaneously today, can any other club in Europe do this ?

In November 2007 we opened with 16 staff, this week we had 120 pull off a phenomenal achievement, thanyou to all of you and a special mention to our card room manager Danny Bell who worked today on his 40th birthday, that is dedication.

All the best ACES

Not a regular poster, but would like to add congrats and thanks to all for holding such a phenomenal event. I knew it wasnt going to be my day when I was drawn on the same table that served me up such miserable holdings in last years event. Alas no hands and no flops again. Still I play because I enjoy and I feel very privelidged to have DTD on my driving doorstep. N1, WP. etc.

All over and what a great story!

The winner of the first ever £1000,000 guaranteed tournament in the UK, the UKIPT Nottingham was Robert Baguley who plays our £15 comps 3 nights a week.

He won outright, no deals for £210,400.

It cost him £224 to enter, he played the last live satellite at the club and only re entered as he had lost his first stack after just 10 minutes!

Well done to both Robert and the runner up Iqbal Ahmed who collected £125,000.

Cheers
