Fancy Volandri to beat Bachinger in the tennis today.  Volandri by far the better clay player having reached the semis last week and the final in the tournament before.   In contrast Bachinger rarely has made the 2nd round.  Volandri has won 11 tournaments, all on clay.

£148.12 at 1.37.   This will be my last big bet, I don't have the stones for it, it will take me over £200 and I will bank a large percentage of it starting again at £30 (same as last time)

Good luck

I watched the 1st set of Berlocq and thought he'd have it wrapped up in 2. Thank god i went to sleep or i'd have been a mess. Onwards and upwards £110 to work with.

Yesterday's good tips meant I hit my initial target of £75 profit, so have kept that aside (not withdrawn yet in case I decide to change my target!) and am on Volandri too - £22.41 at 1.36.

I don't really fancy Sheffield United as much as others tomorrow. They are hot in form, but surely after a bad set of results on Monday for Rochdale, they'll try and pull their finger out and put up some sort of fight later?

Sheffield United are indeed 4/5 with SkyBet, decent enough price. If they score early, they'll win by a few, but if not, think Rochdale can get something. Not touching that match tomorrow.

I might have £20 on Blackburn at home to Liverpool.

Wiiiiiiiii aaron1867, i don't know if you noticed but your Sheff U bet started this whole thread off. I See what you are saying but i still think Sheff U will take it tbh. Might nit it up with DNB if the tennis comes in.

Blackburn isn't the type of bet i would advise for this thread but with how terrible Liverpool are I certainly fancy Blackburn's chances.

Anyways i am on. so gl us.

Can't really rail while i am at work so let me know how we get on plz!

Yea but Girgy is used to never getting a return from a bet placed and he is still happy to carry on!  Wink

I think £200+ staked = bank 50% could be a nice pocket liner but still ensure the sweat gets better and better.

If this tennis bet wins i could buy a PS Vita, but the Vita can gtfo as it is clearly cursed.

OK, my next target is the £250 side event at this month's GUKPT tour at GCasino Thanet. I'm keeping my £75 out of it, as that was the target and it feels wrong to change things, but if I get this roll up to £175 I shall put them together. So new target = £175.

I'm with silo on the big bets though - risking huge amounts doesn't sound like it fits in with the way of the nit to me  Wink

It's been proven time and time again that a bet will lose eventually, I just don't want to be on a high amount when it does.  I think turning £25 into £200 within a few days is pretty good going.  Plus I'm going to do it all again

Also, £200 is a lot of money, regardless on how balla you are, it's a tidy sum.  I don't want to get in a position where it means nothing to me.

Girgy was spunking £500's at Cheltenham not long ago so I'm not taking him as a role model (no offense) Cheesy

VWP on reaching your first target Womble and long may it continue

The nit aspect is about being too nitty to just buy something outright when we can spin it up for cheap. Also this way we don't just carry on betting forever as obv we will go busto at some point.

Maybe if we thought of something we really really wanted thoughts of taking a % back would never enter our minds?

Its possible that MahoganyVic's succesfful degen spinning has lead some of us astray.

As always, I firmly believe people should do what they want, thread is for fun. When I next see any of you getting on the bus i will beep my horn as i drive past in my lambo..

Agree with this, there's nothing I really really want atm.  If there was something I was desperate for I'd be more inclined to go with it.

Oh yeah, I see this point, and I agree with it too (is that possible?!). i.e. You have a target, and place the bets to hit that target. Whatever people want to do though is great, this thread's already been great fun regardless, and good wins and hitting of targets has been had by all  thumbs up

Could i direct you to: http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/

I might add Segway to the list. Look like such a balla just rolling around the office or to to the shops on one of those.
