Unbelievable seens that meant I couldnt even get into Morrisons car park to get my all important tuna mayo sarnie for lunch.

Still no panic here as I wait it out to see a pump I wont have to queue for....

95 miles left and counting ........

Careful, I just heard that tuna mayo sarnie drivers are about to go on strike.

The unions must be laughing their conkers off! Having the govt do their dirty work for them whilst sitting their looking like heroes as they now aren't striking at Easter!

Only Cameron could Teflon this one and only milliband could fail to capitalise on it, by choosing to eat pasties in greggs!

Probably loads of overtime coping with the extra deliveries too Smiley

Pretty sure there will be quite a few skilled tanker drivers on jobseekers allowance that would jump at a £40k a year job.

Correct - the proposed strike was not about wages.

Extraordinary how many wrong ends there are to grasp a stick.

I finish work at lunchtime on a Friday and alway fill up on the way home.
Today I'm going to look like one of the panic buying morons.
Will have to stand shaking my head dispondantly while I fill up.

How do you know they are morons and not just people who finish work at lunchtime on a Friday and alway fill up on the way home?.

A good point, well made.
I will look out for other people trying to look like this is their regular fill up time.
I will only assume the people with jerry cans are the morons.

How do you know they don't just need some fuel for their lawnmower?

Or even wasting it.

don't look like waste to me!.....all down the t shirt ,none on the floor.

Lee - seconds after the photo was taken, he set light to himself. He dropped the container of petrol pretty damn quick then!

He was OK though, he does it regularly, apparently, he's Greek.

If health and safety concerns are an issue for the tanker drivers what's changed in the last few years to make them want to strike?
As in an earlier post, why? Huh?

No idea. Presumably the traditional employee v employer battle for efficiency, or otherwise.
