I usually put it back in their court by saying. "Will you fold if I say yes?"
Cheers Mr Dawg

That's perfect. I find all the speech stuff a bit macho tbh. And he was a decent player so not level 1 imo. But my mucking really pissed him off for some reason. I don't know why as I have played with him for 4 years and never shown a hand yet so why he thought I would then is somewhat strange.

I love the wise old owls on here.

Cheers Al.

Don't forget that you can vary your response and still put it back on them.

If they have a real decision to make, I find "Will you call if I say no?" often induces a fold, and "Will you fold if I say yes?" induces a call.

Tommy Angelo "Mouth"

"Here we have a collection of muscles and parts that send information using not only expressions, but also sounds.
And not just any old sounds. Words. Sentences. Information of the highest grade. This comes as great news for
the reciprocality miner as there are no rules that require the muscles of the mouth to move while playing poker.
You have the right to remain silent."

From my experience its best to say nothing. I have noticed a few canny players are looking for the player to answer yes i will show
(a reason to justify a close call)then they call as yes normally implies a marginal holding.

When im playing well im certainly keeping strum in these spots.

I've never played any game, or done anything that was so powerful at making you believe that you 'owned' it... before making you realize that you actually don't.
