Structure for this event, the £500s and the Grand Prix is top right of this link
"Festival Freezeout"

Looks brilliant. Even more pissed off that I'm not playing it now

Winson Tran makes it 800 from the button, Algernon to 2,150.
"are they all purples? damn!" says Algernon, Tran flats.
They both check to the river of
Algernon checks, Tran bets 2,500.
Algernon goes to call, however two purple chips drop at the same time. He quickly retrieves a 5k chip
"sorry it stands at 10k" says the dealer, Algernon looking in shock and disappointment, before realising he's giving off tells.
Tran is annoyed that he was bluffing on the river before mucking, Algeron shows

Daniel Muddiman raises called by Jenny Westerlund and Jason herbert
Herbert has 6-6
The flop gives a situation that even Herbert can't fuck up
Q-Q-6
Wrong.
Muddiman checks
Westerlund bets and Herbert calls
On the turn Westerlund bets again. Herbert no doubt is in heaven, with images of Cadwell in leather boots cascading through his thoughts as he calls and continues to allow the lady to make the action into his monster
On the river Westerlund bets 3,100 of her last 6,000
Herbert, no doubt distracted by his excitement at potentially winning a hand, thinks she has moved all in and puts 6,000 over the line flipping his cards
Westerlund with 2,900 behind and the worst hand, can fold saving her shrapnel

It's rare that I am scathing of others I haven't met, and I always feel a bit out of line when I do so, but this man looks like a complete bellend.
I bet he thinks the same of boys with cardigans wrapped round their necks...

Ian Gascoigne already stirring and he's already in day 2 after yesterday
Frankie says "it took you so long to call with top two pair"
Ian replies "I'm thoughtful, see if you get through to Day 2 with me"

Normally when he takes his time like this its because he can't quite see the community cards. Generally he follows it up with a complaint that the indices of the cards are too small, ignorant of the more likely possibility that his eyes are sh1t.
