The £5k roll is solely for poker.

My betting roll is all in with life roll.  I have made a nice tidy profit over the last 6 months and have been using that.

Im not completely serious on the betting side, I start with £50 or £100 and try to roll it over to a bag, withdraw and start again.

Ive read the responses regarding the betting on the Arsenal game.  I just think even though Arsenal have 3rd place more or less locked up, they'll see tonight as a chance to make it concrete as the others aren't in play and will really go for it.

I cant see anything other than an Arsenal win (even with Wigans good run of late) and they may win by 3 or 4

Thanks Ash.

I shall watch your wager tonight with interest, but I'm a nit, & my money is staying in my pocket. Its safer there.

What do you class as a full buy-in at a given level? 100bb's?

Sorry your bet went down tonight but the way wigan had been playing recently i was in the camp that left it alone.

Good luck with the diary from a fellow northerner!

not updated for a few days as been mega busy

last night thought id try to spin up on stars playing some tourneys.

so i deposited £100 and pplayed the big $55 ($125k gtd)

having got into the last 40 out of 2400 entrants and with an above average stack, i fell asleep!! there was 19k up top for the winner. i wake up in the morning and see ive finished 24th for$400. as gutting as that was and knowing i missed out on a chance for a decent bink, i decided to play cash on the new zoom feature on stars at 2.50/5

played around 6 hours in total today and have built it nicely to $4.4k

also just got onto the final table of the ept grand final sat 30 euro rebuy and have just busted in 4th place :-(, only the one sat in that.

just more or less finished on bubble in $109 (100k gtd), out AK vs k4 blind on blind

I havent played online for quite a while but my perception of it being harder has changed somewhat.

i know ive   only played maybe a thousand hands or so but still.

i have a problem now. with the money ive just made do i

1) try spinning up using v.agressivebanktoll management
2) use this to play properly at maybe 1/2

as ive typed this, ive just missed the chance to add on in the UKIPT dublin rebuy!

never mind, heres to a better night!!

Havent updated this diary in what seems like an eternity!!

I will be updating again in the New Year where I will be giving poker a real shot and taking it more serious rather than as a nice little hobby.

Have been mega busy working the last few months and hopefully by next month I'll be able to give more of my time to the beautiful game we all love

I don't know yet.  Thinking of going away for Christmas for a little break, still undecided.

Most likely will play though if I end up staying
