What's Ross Patmans Blonde id?

Playing Day 1F. Hoping that running thru the minefield of a GP day 1 I won't get my legs blown off by "curious" plays Smiley

Still got 5 GCs left but can't make Friday night so not sure if I've lost the other 3 or 4 seats if I don't make day two Sad

Ask whoever is on the Online support desk tonight, they'll know about unused GCs

Unannounced the structure of this has changed.

In GP VI we played 15 levels but came back with blinds at 1500/3000/300(poss 400)
Didn't get to 2500/5000/500 until Level 19

This time we're at 2500/500/500 in Level 16

Might account for there having been around 15% through to Day 2 last time as opposed to just under 12% so far this time?

234 were paid last time from 2325 - pretty much bang on 10% rounded to ?

Could be cagy in the opening levels Saturday with 5/6 of the field to get paid.

Spoke to one of TDs on Sat and he said would be about 180 - 210 paid. It's normally about 12% of field. I am sure it must have been agreed somewhere. I guess if only 1300 entries this would reduce number paid despite being guaranteed at 2k runners
Of course . They have to pay out on number of runners played not how many they hoped to play. Heard a few interesting things at Dtd last night but one of the least interesting was that Dtd expect 500 runners on Friday. Catherine's step daughter has her graduation thurs/ Friday do hoping we leave early enough Friday to give this another bullet

Just looking at the payout and it will be 198 places paid which well based on the estimate around 12% of the field.
min cash is €200 2 x buy in as is all our comps now - we are working on the new payout structure at the moment that will bring us in line with the market.
1st prize will be just short of €40k

good luck to all those through even more luck to all those planning on getting there.

Cheers Nick

Just sat down and I have a chatty table so hopefully that means good things.

Already had a misdeal where a card went off the table to seat 3 but seat 2 had AA and seat 5 KK... So someone got off lghtly there.
