Man when I think of the amount of money I have degened away over the years on various shit that I never needed to do its pretty embarrassing really. I know it was a lot of fun and all that but sheeeeesh

I'd be more embarrassed if I had 100k in my bank account and had wasted my life away nitting it up doing nothing.

Not as much as Bopkin!!  Wink

I was hoping he was going to tally up his drinking expenses for the year at the end of his Guinness diary.

That would have given us something to work on/aspire to.

If it makes anyone feel better, I reckon, converted to current spending power, I've probably spent £100k lifetime on cigarettes. Ugh. As dumb goes, thats pretty dumb. Maybe alcohol would have been a better route.

(1 pack per day, call that £50 per week, call that £2,500 per year, & I've smoked on & off since I was 16 - whoops, make that nearer £125k).

The time may have come to quit. "blonde quit smoking thread" imminent.

I remember being out in cardiff for Pez's birthday (we'd been railing Jamie's LNP heat and Perrins in the final) we ended up in Cardiff Oceana where me and Jake attempted to break the record for biggest round ever in the clubs history.  The bar-women couldn't tell us exactly what the record was, so we punted at 50 bottles of VK, 18 vodka lime/lemonades and 30 Jager bombs, think it came to about £140. Pretty confident it's the record - that was the night Mizrachi offered to "get a round in" after shipping $3m in the summer comes back with 1 apple VK for everyone, whilst him and Chino Reem sipped the brandy's.  Pretty poor effort.

I can't remember most expensive round but I imagine it would have been 8 handed ordering far too much and losing the flip, I never win tournaments but when I do I'll be sure to give the boys a spin in a club/bar Cheesy

For those of you who don't know which series of late night poker I was refering to, let me job your memories Cheesy

I do sometimes wonder which one is worse tbh, if your drinking the equiv of say a bottle of wine most days I reckon there isn't a lot in it, but that's just my guess.

I used to actually enjoy smoking, but the day I got diagnosed I gave up.  I've had a couple cheeky ones now and again in Vegas and also got the cigars out a couple times at T8MML's house.

I don't miss the smell of my clothes in the morning and stained fingers though. I did laugh when I saw they were £8 a packet in pubs from the machines, that was over a year ago so I hate to think how much they are now.
