Probably an average of £100/wk from 18 up to 30 and £50/wk since.
Works out about £75k or so.

To say I had an expenses card for 3 years, plus the amount that a regular cocktail costs in the bars I frequented throughout my Mid to late 20's I would say around 200k +..
Now if I were to take my corporate spending out of it I would say around £3k in total, because I'm not really a drinker..
I just feel sorry for the smokers...

I was in the navy for 4 years drinking 4/5 nights a week for most of that bar basic training and after that I used to drink most nights after work when I was roofing for a year. Quit work for poker then and the 4 years which followed made the navy look like a couple pints after work in comparison!! Doesn't even bear thinking about as I'd probably make myself feel even sicker than I used to most Monday mornings..... Now I only drink one weekend every few months when I go to a do and for the whole time I'm in Vegas. So probably spend more in those 2/3 weeks than I do the rest of the year

Winner. Reckon Matt's probably ahead of Hopkin Green Frog with a good few year's head start, but Stu's probably ahead on a pro rata basis.

I was talking about this with someone only the other day I'm prolly somewhere near £100k and I'm 23! Could even be more, I can think of 3 nights in vegas that account for near 20% of that Kinda staggering to contemplate :S Dubai.... i'll take the overs on £400,000 How much of the alcohol you've bought in your lifetime have you actually drunk? I reckon it's 30% for me
