People at petrol stations who refuse to go to a free pump that's say on the right hand side of their car if their petrol cap is on the left of the car, and so they park behind someone filling up at the opposite side. I then drive over to the bay they avoided, pull the pump over my car to my right hand side petrol cap and fill up.
Are they scared that it won't reach?

Can't have this. If Petrol pumps were supposed to be dragged over cars why do they put that little arrow showing you which side it is on in your car?

Some petrol stations have long reach hoses which comfortably reach behind the car round to the filler. They also usually advertise this. |

I've been filling up my car for around 10 years now and have never found it doesnt reach, nor have I had a member of staff telling me not to do it like that. They all reach, unless you park absolutely miles from the pump!
