The problem with writing a poker diary is if you don't win, you can easily end up sounding like a whiny bastard and that's the last thing I want.

Probably best to write nothing if I haven't got anything interesting or enlightening to say.

Apologies.

Obv your diary, so you can write what you feel like. For my 2cents I love reading about what players do away from the tables, so even if you aren't winning there's still plenty to write about Smiley

Haven't spotted Trigg or LeKnave by the pool yet, but I'll keep a lookout for you.

Keith

I agree with Tikay and the others - we all enjoy your news be it poker related or any other matters - all immensely readable.

Sounds like a bit of hard luck in the $10k.

Look forward to a deep run in the next you have the game.

Cheers

Money aside, which of the following 3 things would you like to do the most?

Score the winner for QPR in a major cup final.

Ride the winner in a major horse race

Win the WSOP main.

I love horse racing, but have zero inclination to ride in a race! (If a horse could talk, they'd tell you they have zero inclination to have me as a jockey!). They go bloody fast you know and it's a long way down if you fall off.

Safer enjoying it in the stands or on tv imo.

WSOP main event. I don't really "get" poker fame. I was on the next table along from Negreanu yesterday. He must have signed 100 autographs and had his picture taken with 50 railbirds.

I mean really wtf? Why would you want the autograph of a poker player? He happens to be good at a card game? Would you want the autogrpah of the world bridge champion? Or the world snap champion?

I love poker. But I wouldn't want to be famous for playing it. Honestly, gievn the chance if I was heads up for the main event title, I would offer to split the money and let them have the title.
