Glgl Keith, tid mof.

As a shrewd punterer, why would you ever put a single $ on a table game?

Blackjack in Vegas is virtually a zero sum game and it helps me to unwind if I've been playing poker for 12 hours.

Craps is my danger zone. It's the crack cocaine of gambling. I know how the FBOT addicts get hooked. Just so compelling to me for some reason.

First time I played the main event, I took a horrendous beat AA v QQ for a top 5 stack half way through day 2.

Proceeded to go downstairs at Binnions and drop about 30k on the craps table in the next 45 minutes.

Horrendous memory.

The man is no longer at work.

Flopped top set and I'm out.

Sick.

Details later if I manage to avoid tall buildings.

Nothing I could do about bustout hand.

But this is the key one.

I had got off to a great start and was on 38k at the start of level two.

Unfortunately my great table had broken and I'd been moved to Michael Mizrachi's table and he already had 90k!

Cut off makes it 500 to play.

I call OTB with QJ of clubs.

Grinder calls in the bb.

Flop QT2 two clubs.

Grinder checks, raiser bets 750, I make it 1900. Grinder cold calls. Raiser passes.

Turn a red jack.

He checks I bet 3200, he makes it 8200. I call.

River blank.

He sets me in.

I fold.

Thoughts?

A set of deuces?

89 or K9 clubs?

These are the only hands I can conceive I'm losing to.

Think I should call.

QJ seems like his most likely hand actually. Although QT or Q2 possible too.

Rarely look in this bit, so missed all the action.

UL Camel, been rooting for you.

Fwiw, I don't see Grinder calling rr with a gutter.

Reasoning behind calling the turn? If Grinder is bluffing, he knows the only way he can win the pot is jamming the river and he can afford to be wrong in surmising you can find a fold.

Otherwise, jam the turn when he makes it 8,200 and you've got a few outs if he has the nuts. That or let it go and pick on someone else for a bit.

You're right that a stone cold bluff seems really unlikely, tho.

Think I need more tea to be confident in my analysis. Wrong, but confident.

Unlucky, sir. Enjoy the rest of your stay.
