Maria had 12k, not 6k earlier #icantcountchipstoday

She now has a few more when she raised to 1700 pre and got 2 callers including Pete Wigglesworth. The flop came and 6k from Maria was easily enough to get rid of the other two!

Dahe Liu just got a gift when Larry Mayes called his tournament life off with on a board. Liu had having flopped the mutts nuts.

Gary Morgan is also out after he 4-bet shoved AK in the BB only to find Conor Beresford on the button with dem bullets.

Rasta just won a pot when he bet 1200 on the turn of a two spades board, Renee Xie and Narendra Ruparel both calling. All 3 checked the river and Rasta's was enough to take the 6k pot.

Ruparel then bled a few more chips when he paid off Alan McBride's 3k value bet with AT on a A-x-x-T-x board, Ruparel mucking.

David "david3103" Amos had to re-enter when he shoved his first stack with on a 2 spade flop...unfortunately his opponent had two spades to kill all his outs. Since re-entering, he got a gift when Duncan Taylor raised to 1200 pre and Amos 3-bet to 4k. Taylor called and the two checked a flop, then again checked a turn. Taylor bet 3k on the river with , but Amos had been lucky enough to see all 3 streets with and had rivered the straight. He called and won the pot.

George Bedi is over starting stack.

He raised to 2400 with dem Kings after 2 limpers, who both called. He then shoved a 5-A-J flop and Nathan Lee called with K-Q, which missed on the 4 turn and 7 river.

George now on 40k - nice considering he had just under 5k an hour ago!

Is this some kind of hilarious practical joke?

What does everybody think the rule is here:

Guy opens to 1100 at 250/500, I throw in 2 1k chips silently in the next seat. Is it a call or a raise?

Raise surely.  The raise is legal, it is two chips, what else could it be?

Pretty sure it's deemed a call

I heard this hand from David himself - he didn't say who his opponent was.
