Level 20, with 20 minutes left to play, and we have 65 players left in with 22 Golden Chips. One in three sounds like DTD will be paying out for some more Caribbean poker packages today.
Average stack is 432,000, and we still have another 7 levels to play out today.

Nicola is currently doing the Golden Chip list, we definitely have 26 players left from 77 holding a Golden Chip. If any of these players get to the Final table they take home a 5K Caribbean poker package.
Will they be referred to henceforth as "the shower"?

Shane Dewsbury raises pre and is called by david Amos.
Flop runs out
Shane C bets 60K.
David dwells for 60 eons. Eventually slowly and deliberately stacks up 60K, picks it up and quietly announces all in.
Shane says " You need an Oscar for that mate" and folds, flipping over the
.
David back to about 350K.

I like it.
But enough about me, yes, it's a good collective name.

You know how certain players say online is rigged, that when short stacks get it in good, they are always brutally outdrawn by the bigger stack?
Dane Phillips shoves his 91K in and is called by Bodo Wagner.
Dane has KQ
Wagner has KJ.
Best result Dane could hope for, particularly on an innocuous low flop of 6 8 10.
Turn Queen.
It's all going Dane's way.
He sits back in his seat and visibly breathes out with relief.
Until the dealer pulls out a 9 on the river, giving Bodo Wagner the straight to eliminate Dane.

He said he can't believe he's playing next to you. Turns out he misheard your name and thought you were Ross Boatman.

George now on the big stacks table, alongside Ben Sweetman who now has 1.5M, after taking 400K off George, now down to 800K.
Hasmukh in seat 2 has just under one million, while Nick Humphris, 2nd in last August's GP for £30K, has about 1.2M.
Nick Humphris riding the train to another win at DTD?

FML.
There's a pregnant girl playing the Grand Prix. Had just been chatting to her when another pregnant lady walked past. I made a jokey comment to her about something in the water, saying she was the second pregnant woman I'd seen in as many minutes.
She wasn't pregnant.

Keith Jones makes it 41K to go and is flat called by Hasmukh on the button.
Big Blind Matt Taylor 3 bets to 136K, with approximately 160K left behind.
Keith dwells and eventually folds.
Action on Hasmukh who thinks and then announces he's all in.
Matt can't call quick enough, having committed himself to the hand with his initial raise.
Matt has pocket Queens.
Hasmukh has
10c.
Flop runs out 8 4 10 A 5
No nasty surprises for Matt and he doubles up to over 700K.
Hasmukh has lost a big chunk from his stack now and is down to just under average stack.
