Is there anyone who won't play a comp because it starts at 2 pm instead of 5 pm

Herbietronics.

This has already been answered. Matt wouldn't unless it was a special comp.

Moving banner, nice red colour, large font.

Quality way for Herbie to celebrate his 4th "last post" on the subject.

Over under line - 7?

Herbie.

You do realise I hope that we have to pay extra server costs for large font and moving banners?

They use extra electricity and need a bigger pipe, see?

There must be, as Rob says attendances are down when they start at 5.

Voted for 2pm for all the usual reasons. Travelling, chance to play some cash at the end of Day1, or to get some sleep, and leaving home at 1030 isn't much different in it's impact from leaving at 1530 since the day gets jiggered in both cases.

The start time isn't an issue that would stop me playing though.

my prefer ed options
5 pm start on Friday - why because i can get there without taking time off work (finish early Friday afternoon sure lots of others do as well ) finish time if still there makes no difference as day 2 sunday
2 pm on Saturday - why because an earlier finish time would mean  i could chose between driving home or getting hotel  ( live about 1 hr 40  Min's  away )
NOON  on sunday - last thing want to think about is what time  will it finish what time do i have to be at work ! think the last £200 was 3:30 am ?

I voted for 2pm though if I am going to play an event I am going to play regardless of the start time.

I prefer the 2pm start though because of the advantages of finishing earlier and then having the choice of being able to play cash, socialise or to be able to get a decent amount of sleep in before returning to DTD the following day.

5pm Friday because of work (finish at 5pm) and 2pm saturdays for the reasons stated above. Chance to play cash after or have a early night etc.
