Objection! The answer to Q6 is 1950.
Noted. You mentioned it but I can't find any evidence that Germany competed in the 1950 World Cup though. sharplea also answered 1950. They didn't. That's why it's the right answer. ; The question implies, which did they play in, but not under the name stated. not which didn't the play in at all. No? It can imply what it likes - that's not what it says. "Post World War 2, what was the first World Cup that Germany did not compete under the name West Germany?" There is only one correct answer to that - 1950. 1994 is wrong. Where's my point scotty? It's bad enough that you didn't give me one for naming Zidane and Petit, just cos I also put another name after theirs. That was pretty harsh. But this one is a definite. One point for me please. And one away from the incorrect 1994 answerers. I'm obv not going to argue with the FAScotty's final decision, but I think Mint might have a point. I didnt put down either answer. Also completely concidental that if 1950 turns out to be the answer, and all 1994 answers lose there points I might sneak a Promotion.  |
