Peyton Manning is now 9-11 in the playoffs with 5 home losses as the 1 seed twice, 2 seed twice and a 3 seed.
Incredible really, for one of the best ever

Such a shame that a negative culture towards American sports exists in the UK, we really do miss out.

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

The close minded people deserve to miss out on American Football imo, natural selection.
Tbf I struggle with Basketball, very over hyped imo.

Problem with basketball is it's either a blowout or totally irrelevant until the last 2 minutes.
End of a close game is incred

Baseball and Basketball seasons are about 3 months too long each, and baseball in particular has too many games with uncompetitive teams with nothing to play for for months.
NFL is so fantastic as there is a scarcity factor in my opinion
Agree with the general sentiment!

p.s you are 35-35 with 30 seconds to go and two time outs, Manning at QB and you take a Knee?
Why don't you throw a 15 yard pass, or try to..time out..same again...time out...try the shot to nothing 50-60yd field goal at altitude?
I didn't get the conservatism by Denver in that spot?

Just as bad was not throwing a pass on 3 and 6 with 2 minutes left.
Balt had 9 men in the box.
Play action fake would have been perfect.
Manning could have swallowed it if it wasn't an easy completion.

Disagree Keith think the 3rd and 6 play is standard/best, the time off clock by running is too valuable to outweigh any perceived advantage of passing.
I thought kneeling the last time of regulation was way too conservative and is a standard NFL coaching mistake where coaches are too afraid of making a mistake rather than trying to win.

You have the best QB in the league.
Baltimore had 9 men in the box.
Play action fake, if the man is not wide open, Manning swallows it and the clock keeps running.
Just the obv call, Baltimore never gets the ball back.

I think trying to end the game with a 6 yard pass is a good call there, I don't think the Pats would think twice in that spot

Yep this is a clear passing spot, can only think the cold influenced the decision. A first down is the game with the best QB there´s ever been.
