I've put Jon to good use already: he's currently typing up the amended prize payout, on a laptop with a crystallised screen. Apparently he split beer on it.
Students.

Was just watching his table and he didnt play one hand out of three. Most unlike him, I'm worried he may be unwell.
Will go back and see if he's woken up yet.

Nope.
Still locked up.. Wadee has 960K, his Ipod on, and is folding his way to the money.

Michael Kilby to 35k, Istakhar Sadiq flats.
Dan Corbett from the button makes it 82k, both players call.
Flop -
Kilby checks, Sadiq all in for 229k.
Corbett dwell calls, Kilby folds.
Sadiq -
Corbett -
Turn -
Doubles Sadiq up as Corbett left drawing dead, down to about 250k.

Get to table 12 in time to see Patrick Simcoe bet 100K on the river of a board reading
10c
Dan Palmer thinks for a few minutes then makes the call: Patrick declares a straight and shows
Dan mucks.
I ask Patrick how much the pot was, and he tells me 200K. Unless there were no blinds and no betting all the way til the river, I highly doubt it was 200K.
Dealer politley tells me there was was 55K bet on the flop and a check on the turn, so in total about 350K.

Jimmy Lowery lost most of his stack with pocket sixes on the button, against James Turner with AK in the BB.
Jimmy loses the 380K pot and is down to about 110K.
We're just waiting on an update from Nicola as to how many Golden Chips left in.

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.
