Okay guys, here is your RSQ.

Haven't been able to spend as long as I wanted thinking of some really awesome questions, hopefully the following will suffice.

Rules:

The score for each question is the number of people who give that answer.

The most popular answer is the sheep.

Incorrect answers receive the sheep score plus 5 points.

Lowest score wins.

Using Google is not allowed.

You must pass two questions and will receive 0 points for those two questions.

PM your answers to me by 10am Tues 2nd October. The reveal will take place at 6pm the same day (let me know if this is too early and I can push it a bit later)

There are fifteen questions in total:

1) Name a current Premier league football manager.

2) A TV comedy series starring both Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer.

3) A root vegetable

4) An ingredient in Hollandaise Sauce.

5) A country that shares a border with Luxembourg.

6) A species of penguin.

7) A poker player with two thirds of a triple crown (ie has won exactly two of the three main accolades in torunament poker, WPT title, WSOP bracelet, EPT title).

8 ) A Baseball team that has won the World Series in the past 50 years (1962-present).

9) A county that borders Staffordshire.

10) A species of bear.

11) A James Bond film.

12) One of the states of the USA ending with the letter "A".

13) A top 40 hit by "ABBA".

14) The name of someone who made the final table of either the 2007 or 2008 WSOP Main Event Final Table (official final table only, i.e. only 18 correct answers).

15) Picture round: Choose a type of facial hair from the following list:

Oh, and there is more than one question I can't answer (or can only give one answer to) - so for that reason, I'm out.

That's like following the England football team on how to take penalties or the GB 4x100m on how to do baton relays...

You can do 15 questions - that's not a problem really.  Just that with one pass, and some questions that are a bit 'niche' you then alienate people who can't give an answer or more than one answer.  The ideal questions are ones with a good 10 or so answers, and some that are possible clever aces, but could also be a bit risky and be marked as fails.

I have increased the number of passes to 2.

This should help on the questions that some may find too niche, to be fair though, the level of niche-ness is totally subjective, it'd be virtually impossible to put 15 questions that everyone would have an excellent grasp of.  there were 3 questions in the portsmouth RSQ that I literally only had one answer for.

I've tried to pick questions that aren't gonna take hours to debate, that have definitive answers to them.

It's easy to have 10 questions that don't include any 'niche' ones.

1. Name a fruit
2. Name an animal with 4 legs
3. Name a Premiership Football team outside the M25
4. Name a James Bond Film (as you have in your questions)
5. Name an X-factor winner

etc...

Oh, and there is more than one question I can't answer

Me too, haven't a clue on the Prodigy or football manager ones, and not sure on one or two others.

3) The name of a service station on the M6 motorway.

I had a browse through a couple of old quizzes last week and this very question caused ructions before. Good start Sweetman.

To be fair I've only ever been involved with the one I luckboxed last night.

Questions altered. Really don't want to have to alter them again

If your going to allow all this input, Sweetman, can I insist you only put up questions to which I am the only person who knows the correct answers? Grin I'll even write my own and pm them to you if you like!
