thanks for all good wishes

tommorow is almost certainly a day off only wolver in the evening (doesnt look great) and im looking forward to relaxing watching cheltenham in the afternoon

still feel shite despite the winner just glad i awoke in time and saw the market had done the race last night without checking the prices and had kashgar in at about 4-1 when i saw its price i looked again and the selection was the only one i could see improving past it.

will the selection win another race in its life? i wouldnt bet on it it got all the allowances hadnt been knocking its head against impossible tasks like the others and was trying something new.

When i feel better i will talk about what i look for in lower class races as a rule.

Running Total = £ 1742.12

thanks

a couple of bets in the impossible last at ascot tommorow

LOVING SPIRIT £10 WIN 25-1 GENERAL

SMARTY SOCKS 14-1 GENERAL £10 WIN

smarty socks is consistent has been running back into form has the plum draw to try and make all and is fairly handicapped and wont mind the sludge

loving spirit unexposed interesting jockey booking should handle heavy and should also find this a lot easier

almost certainly some from wolver to come when they price them up

well if the selection in the ascot race had got anywere near the rail it would have won easily but it didnt

the wolver bet travelled ok then stopped is either rubbish or has a physical problem probably both

4.30 windsor hidden justice £25 win 10-1 (some 11-1 but not a lot so down as 10-1)

not a great race this

reasoning:

think it needs 1m 4f and soft, this is the weakest race it's ever run in, not much better than a class 6.  only had one run against non 3-year-olds and was unsuited by the pace but ran its best race, seemed to resent the headgear last twice thats gone and crowley is a good booking for the trainer

there were a few other possibles but the non runners have put paid to there prices

In this race Horse I see that the Hugh Taylor fella from ATR has once again put up Captain Cardigan, whom  was pulled out a race last week after there was a bit of a gamble on another.  Any significance in that?
