@doobs I think it's fair to say Aaron takes it better than I would (and do).
I don't like see it getting personal but there's a gap in the market for what Aaron does and I mean that not in the hyperbole we've seen, but in the way he argues his bets. The Tips for Tikay thread is specialised and the "Elders" are keen to protect its identity, which is fine as far as I can see.
I like seeing people being prepared to stick their neck out and declaring their hand (mixed metaphors but you know what I mean).
Thread keeps getting views. Those who have used Blonde far more than I will know whether, if people think it has gone too far, the nature of the posts can be reined in.

I contribute to this thread as i like the idea of a shots in the dark thread. Random puntings and fancies. Those just taking the piss can go elsewhere. I dont even know this aaron chap.
Thread has huge potential for shits and giggles

I'm still not convinced that Aaron's account isn't a piss take account from some of the Sheffield lads.

Oh and this isnt the only thread where the 'feel' of the forum is changing and is bordering on rude and offensive. Too many characters taking themselves too seriously and generally making it not as much fun as it was. People in general need to learn everyone has an opinion, and not everyone has to be right all the time. The constant bickering, jibing, quoting and requoting and picking peoples posts to pieces is frankly quite annoying and boring.
Right, on to business. I have backed that scouse fella with all the nerves in x factor to finish in bottom 2. I think he is shit and got bad reviews by the judges. He was about 13/8 or so.

When Man Utd were 2-0 up I thought that 2-2 would be a good bet, as the away team went 2-0 up early on in the Everton v Liverpool game and that finished 2-2.
wasn't funny the first time
I thought mods were supposed to ensure the forum is devoid of this kind of thing.
One person taking the piss can be humorous. A group of people gathering around to pick on a forum member is always going to be on the borders of unpleasantness.
This thread should have been removed long ago
Thanks Doobs.
Agree with this, but don't want topic to be taken down (well not yet anyway). I don't mind a bit of humour and I have laughed my balls of at some of them, but it has turned into same shit, different day, especially one or two users who have made it personal. A tad disappointing. I don't mind the banter FWIW, anyone who has sat at the same poker table will know that for sure.
Please don't stop with banter & tips, but got to stop with endless try hards at humour with similar comments.
I even let Tikay call me Welsh, obv banter is good.

I had a little interest on most of the footie tips posted up here yesterday. As an acca obv, in the spirit of the thread.
Mostly for the purposes of banter, if it comes in.
I bet more in the Aaron style, than in the TFT way, so would feel more comfortable posting some stuff up here.
As long as it's kept relatively light hearted, and Aaron's onside with it, I think it will be a good read.
Would really like him to outperform the other thread, and give them some back.

That was face to face though Aaron, in real-life.
And you know I was just messing as you have a broad Yorkshire accent.
We can close the thread, it is not a problem, but my "read" was that it was intended in good heart, & being taken as such.
I loathe & despise internet bullying, but this one is not like that, or I don't think it is. I've seen far worse on blonde very recently, & in situations where the subject cannot defend himself, which is bang out of order. IMO, that is.
The Mods will keep an eye on it, if it goes from humour to serious, it'll be closed, or if you want me to close it, just drop me a PM, & I'll take responsibility for the decision myself, rather than say it was you.

I was hoping you didn't see this
PS - Tikay, very happy to keep topic open.
Might have re-think before first bet though, with regards to BR, bets & bookmaker(s) to bet with.

We have loads of folks who will assist, feel free to ask on thread, or via PM.
Honestly, trust me, everyone will help, it's a basic of human nature to help others.
Hope the thread becomes a corker. Try & add a few photos & stuff - makes a huge difference.

this would be an epic fail mate. Don't over think anything, its the carefree attitude we all want. I never tip anything but was confident Casey Stoner would win the Moto GP today on his home track in his last season from pole position. Only other thing I can help with is a little inside knowledge of Scunthorpe united. No matter how bad you think they are, until they get a new manager they are only gonna get worse

This was supposed to be a little bit of a piss take.
I'd never have started it if I thought Aaron wouldn't see it as such, or it would descend into bullying.
Also +1 Junior's post. He talks alot of sense for a 13 year old.
