Really pleased for Bash and Sunny and amazing how the Dtd regs win time after time. When is it Nicks turn to win one of these things because he probably der serves it more than anyone. It was not hard to enjoy watching it despite the length it ran for especially when listening to Tighty, Ian, Wadey, Frankie and Alex, and the fact i would have been happy to see all but one person win that final. These guys might not be the most technically gifted but they are all great guys who love the game.

I appreciate where Patrick is coming from but had it not been for those particular guys there would be Norway I could have sat through all of that. Maybe a little thought could be given into the line up of co commentators so that a little better balance through the stream could be gained so that you have one or two perfect poker players giving us the correct plays everyhand.

Hang about wtf am I saying. As long as Bash, Wadey, Rastafish, Raggy, Bob Baguley, Fraser, Colin Young, Frankie, Abbassi and Alex keep winning at Dtd I want to know what that are thinking and why. Lets keep all these nuggets in the booth until someone perfect actually wins something at Dtd Smiley

Nice win for Bash - chuffed for him.

Definitely Nick's turn soon though!

! Absolutely no thought goes into it at all. It depends who is on hand and willing to give up their stime

These guys volunteer to do a stint and each have a different style. None of the young guns are around on a Sunday evening

I don't mind if someone's analysis is unconventional, gets me thinking, gets the audience thinking.

Hahaha sick rubs from Ian on the live stream  Cheesy
Hope not.No rubdowns intended, crikey who am I to make criticism of another player.Just thinking aloud conversations with Tighty. It's harder than it looks but hoped you enjoyed it.Would love to do it later at night actually but early starts on Monday preclude that.Enjoy the rest, some very deserving players and another great competition from DTD.
think the rubs were about pee jays mum mate and naff all to do with any poker lol

Sorry just saw this, Yeah that's what I meant Ian I don't think you were overly critical of anyone's play on the stream.

yeah once again little thought gone into my post. I guess they are not prepared to miss the Sunday biggies to be sat shooting the breeze with you for the evening. I must say as anchorman you do a great job with whoever you get in the booth.

Another point I picked up on was you mentioning to Wadey about not talking about specific hands, I suppose with Bash inparticular during the breaks. Do you see much information being passed on to the players by the rail at all. With how the way the table was playing I expected at least 2 people to comeback after the breaks firing with all guns blazing and it never materialised. We should have been treated to more fireworks than we actually were in my opinion.

Personally I am always careful NOT to speak to players in the breaks. I don't want to inadvertently give them info if I ask them how they've played hands etc

If someone like Wadey is going to speak to a mate on the table I just make sure he knows not to give away info that a commentator has that the player won't know if cards aren't shown and then make sure everyone on the stream is aware I've had the conversation

Of course as has been discussed elsewhere I am sure info does get from home to rail to player in the breaks, but I wasn't aware of anything specific last night. As you say, nothing in playing styles indicated that adjustments werre made!

Watched pretty much all of the final, and thought all the commentators were very good.

Alex was top class late on, and seems to have a great way of putting in depth analysis in a way that is easy to understand.
Ian had me in stitches at times, particularly when he was talking about groups of lads living in houses in Leeds etc..., and Frankie added something when he did his stint.

I find Wadey very entertaining, with his enthusiasm for the game, and his '100% he's going to jam here bud............. (guy raises small)......see, I told you he was going to raise...'.
It's also a great opportunity to get into the mind of someone who has a successful live record, but maybe thinks in a slightly different way to the good online MTTers. Learnt a lot listening to his thought process.

Rich is obv the class act, and holds it all together wonderfully.

Well played all - never really watched a stream start to finish, but would definitely watch another one.

Wp all, enjoyed the updates, some great entertainment ty tighty, helps make up for not being able to play (again).

I think any commentator would have had a tough job keeping listeners entertained what with the snails pace of the game.  I really couldnt see a pokertechwizz providing much meaningful insight on some of the 'moves' made. Clearly a few people caught up in the relative enormity of the situation.

Anyway would be good to see an end to the critisizing of volunteer commentators, this is a free service, take it for what it is; enjoy it or switch off is my advise.

Any way of watching the replay? Like to see how bad I played and if i was the most card dead out of everyone. Think I was tbh. But was my first live final and am happy with 5th tbh with the run of cards I got.

I think the replay will go up in a few days although last month I think they limited to the final couple of hours (?).
I watched the first three hours of the final table and you are correct, you seemed very card dead which must have been really frustrating.Well done on going so deep and a making a live final.
