Quite pleased with the signings of Phillips and Dobbie.  We desperately needed more up front and this should help.
Our next 3 matches are massive IMO in how our season is going to pan out
Charlton (h), Watford (a) and Middlesboro (h)
6 points minimum if we are still looking at automatic promotion.

You seem to be suffering from a condition known in these parts as "Ant Syndome" Matt.

You shouldn't even be thinking of automatic promotion, I'd be much more concerned about making the payoffs if I was you

Keith you obviously haven't read many of my previous posts regarding palace.
I am fully aware how much we over achieved in the first half of the season and that the likes of Leicester and hull have better squads than us.
But I have also seen enough championship football in the past to know that if you get on a run confidence can do strange things.
If you offered me the play offs now I would take it 100%, as I am concerned about our recent performances. What I was trying to say was that Phillips and dobbie might just give the team a bit of a lift and we could go on a run again.

Ps please don't compare my thoughts to Ant's :-)

Palace XI: Speroni; Richards, Ramage, Delaney, Moxey, Marrow, O'Keefe; Bolasie, Butterfield, Zaha; Murray

A little ramshackle to say the least. Hope though we deliver the goods. Marrow has been very good when featured so hopeful about him.

Have a bet on the Barnsley and the draw double chance, my first bet in a good while actually.

0-1 down and woeful so far. Just shows you if your midfield gets gutted, then you can look a completely different team. Without Jedinak, and KG in particular, we are not the same.

Ramage again at fault for the goal apparently. ARGH.

lol. We were woeful in the first half. Dobbie and Phillips come on and we change to a 442 and its a different story.

My mate is a terrible punter, but had just reason to think we were gonna lose pre those subs.

So happy.

My Barnsley bet has come in, lovely day, and Brighton lose to help me with the Camel bet.

Funnily enough I said to him I thought we were going to win 3-1 and we were unlucky not to. Got to love the game.

Kevin Phillips had a man of the match performance. Only 45 mins on.

Just got back from the Wednesday v Brighton game.

First, its clear Brighton are a very good footballing team and if you let them play they are likely to give you a good hiding.

Its also clear they don't like the physical side of the game. Close them down, get in their faces and they really don't like it at all. The dummies start to get spat out big time.

I can see this being their achilles heel this season from what I've seen today.

Some of the theatrics from Brighton today were embarassing. There were three or four occasions when they were rolling around looking to get players booked and then getting up with nothing wrong them. I would say there was also an embarassing dive from Leroy Lita too.

A welcome 3 points for Wednesday in a game I expected us to lose.

Unfortunate result for Blackpool against Barnsley, I've read the write ups on their forums which obviously say they were unlucky etc.

Wondering if Curtis was there and his thoughts on the game beyond being delighted with another 3 points of course Smiley

Is this the right forum for me to moan about how Boro are flattering to deceive for the second year in a row?  I nearly booked tickets home for the playoffs a couple of weeks ago but my best mate persuaded me not to just yet....seems he was right....thoroughly depressed!!!
