No surprise to see Dean Saunders sacked today. Ultimately it proved to be as bad an appointment as it looked at the time.
More surprised to see Kenny Jackett resign though (presumably this one truly was his decision). Good, honest manager who seems to get a lot of value from his teams so a bit of a blow to Millwall, I'd think.

He's been at Millwall a long time now. Maybe he felt a bit stale?
A legend of a player at Watford. Have never felt more confident of a man taking a penalty.

massive blow to milwall
i am told he was pretty annoyed the board would not sanction any money towards a striker when wood went
which is fair enough when you consider he has not really spent a thing (relative) in his time there

Can we have a championship predictor next season? top scorer, relegated, first to score hat trick etc..like the prem we had this season. Me like alot of these forums support championship teams and much for fun than the drone prem league we now have.

Yeah got a whisper about it today and 40/1 33/1 to be promoted if they get some investment for the Xmass transfer window might push for a playoff spot..who knows...
I guess we will wait and see. Leeds 9/1 to get promoted...
Ned to bin Powell before any promotion challenge imo. Nice guy, not so good tactically. Still think they need to ditch him? The ship settled once they had a few long term injured back in the team. He took the decision at Xmas not to spend the £ available to him as he believed promotion was out of touch this season (big fuking sigh). Expect a few decent additions before next season and a push for playoffs again. To say they only recently promoted and spent virtually nothing he has done very well.

Think it could be just results bias. Obviously the form in the last 6 weeks of the season was really good, but the only team they beat with any promotion ambitions was Bolton. Mostly they beat bad teams and any of about 16 teams could have had a run like that with the favourable fixture list Charlton had. It will certainly buy him the first 6 months of next season and if Charlton are in and around the playoffs at Christmas I'll happily admit I was wrong. It's always good when the nice guys succeed. As it is, I'm still not convinced.

As it is, I'm still not convinced. Probably wont last I agree but said on here after the 0-0 basically best team bar Watford to play at the Amex. Coincidentally charlton are fourth in the league over the last 21 games. Hard working teams pay off in the championship, look at Cardiff and hull.
