if they select on the OOM bunting is a million to get in. Not literally a million but i will happily lay anyone 5/2!!!! ~For me he is very like newton. Boring, english, fat, ugly, scouse. He is going to have to get in on his darting ability. He isn't going to get any wild cards without earning them.
World Champion, quick thrower, big 180 hitter. He brings a lot more to the table than Newton. |

joking aside newton is a joke to get into the prem league. Which makes me think it must be the top 6 who get auto entry and not 4.

Agree that Newton was a joke selection but he definitely got a PDC wildcard. There was plenty of comment on this thread regarding it at the time. |

I really don't think he has to do that. Time will tell though. It's the only reason Thorn and Painter got in. Bunting will be in the same spot as them rankings wise. |

@MtSpewmore I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

Going on Friday for the quarters. It's Taylor vs Newton and Anderson vs Lewis.
Not a big sports bettor but would like a couple of 'interest' bets while I'm drinking my bodyweight in lager.
Any suggestions? Taylor vs the local lad is a dream tie really, and I'm a big Lewis fan so happy with the matches I got!

Having watched the Bunting matches I cannot believe he would get 1 of the 2 Sky Wildcards even if he goes deep in the Worlds. It was like the commentators were on message to over play the gap between the BDO and PDC - I now can't see him getting a place as Sky are intent on proving a skills gap between their top 16 and the BDO. Choosing a ex BDO player in his first year for the weekly PDC event just seems a big ask. After another year they can sell the PDC improves another ex BDO player etc etc. I do think he will make the top 8 in fairly short order, I think he has a good temperament and obviously has some heavy scoring ability. |
