Has anybody got anything for the Bdo, don't really know much about them but I'm probably looking to lay the favourite. Although I have always liked the look of Fitton not really sure why.

I suspect you like him for the same reason I do: the walk on to One Step Beyond. Think I heard somewhere he was a coach now for a couple of the younger players.

Phil Taylor Michael van Gerwen Simon Whitlock Adrian Lewis Raymond van Barneveld Gary Anderson Wes Newton Dave Chisnall Peter Wright Robert Thornton
Meh,
Bin Wes and Thornton. Would have liked to see Kim and Bully Boy. Not a fan of Whitlock personally but nothing you can do if he is in automatically.
Nice get out on Wade; this year we believe that he would benefit from a break from the pressures and travel of competing in the tournament to continue his treatment for his well-documented health issues
Love Chizzy tho. Hope this is the end of Taylor's reign.

He went out in the first round of every TV tournament with the exception of the GSOD (QF), Worlds (last 32), UK Open (last 32). That said playing week in week out on TV would probably help him a lot.

They've pretty much got the line up right if the reason given for Wade not being picked is true, even so he's never been popular with the fans and doesn't score heavily enough for Sky to pick as a wildcard.
The love for Kim is strange, he just doesn't deserve to be in it yet, give it a couple of years and he'll be in there. Anderson is only there due to his heavy scoring and signs that he's on the way back but is still lucky to make it. Someone itt wanted Thornton out which is harsh as he acquitted himself well in this years PLD and is another heavy scorer. Newton is just dull and could easily have been left out for Hamilton who is unlucky to miss out.

Very lame if they using his illness as an excuse not to have let him in this year. I like Wade, but sometimes you never know what you will get from him. I guess the medication he has to take daily keeps him on a even keel and his emotions very much level.
My wife only knows 2 players and hes one of them. Hope he comes back stronger.

I would have had Wade in, personally not a fan of Whitlock the man just annoys me. Also Wes wouldn't have made my cut I would have given it to Smith or perhaps Nicholson.
I also don't get people not wanting the Thorn in he is defo one of the more consistent players and he's a big scorer and capable of giving anyone a game on his day.
RVB is a bit of a strange one, I know the fans love him but he's been pretty poor for a few years now I am not sure why Sky wanted him in.

Whitlock is an automatic pick as he's in the top 4 in the rankings. Barney's been rubbish for ages but is still a draw for punters, the backing that he gets (in Scotland in particular) is unbelievable.

Yeah I know Whitlock is an automatic pick, I just dont like him. I think he is overhyped. I am sure the Scottish punters would also support other players that took RVB's place. Would have been good if Sky put out there possibles to a public vote and see who got in.

You've obviously never been to PLD in Scotland, the support he gets is phenomenal and I don't say that lightly, I've never experienced anything like it outside of football, it's quite bizarre actually. Personally I wouldn't have him in it either but the crowds love him and Sky are still trying to flog the dead horse that is the Taylor/Barney "rivalry"
