There was a fair few stray third darts in that MVG match, and I thought you were going to get done the way it was playing out!

Was great fist pumping every 140 or stray dart. Punting aside I thought the night on the whole was a bit of a let down. Still can't wait for next week though. Hoping lightning can strike thrice.

Been going through the darts for this week. Not a massive amount I like tbh.

Match with the most 180s looks abs nailed on with Dave Chisnall v Michael van Gerwen, but @11/10 is a bit on the short side for me. If I was going to bet on the 180s I would probs do MVG most on the night @ 11/4.

The bet I do like is Peter Wright @ 11/4. This is strictly on form as Taylor crushes the h2h 7-0. Last week I thought Taylor was going to come back all guns blazing but he didn't.. he seems to have a massive mental block in the PL this year. Wright is not an easy opponent. He is supremely confident, he will get under your skin and get the crowd on his side which will crush Taylor mentally. He grinds when he needs to and I can see him punishing any of Taylor's mistakes. I honestly think if Taylor has a poor first leg then Wright will cruise to an easy win as per Lewis and MVG in previous weeks. Wright drew after being 5-1 up last week so he will want to make amends for dropping a point.

Anyone got any thoughts on this or fancies?

Can't see Taylor repeating last two weeks Dave, would lay Chisnall for all my bank, not consistant enough in my opinion, great viewing though

To play devil's advocate, I'm sure Taylor will want to make amends for getting blasted in the first 2 matches, and he has played the top 2 players in the first 2 weeks.

Looks like a tough week. I had a quick glance over the card this morning, nothing screamed value although their could be one bet I like. Will check the stats tomorrow to see if it has any legs.

A lot of nice things in Ando's favour tonight, the fact it is in Glasgow is a big one, plus the game will be a fast tempo and he crushes Chizzy in the h2h. Think it's a nice bet. Sick price you got there. 8/11 most places now.

After a quick glance yesterday I spent a couple of hours this morning and think I have found a couple of bets I like:

MAIN BET:  Match with most 180s Chizzy vs Ando @11/4. I expect it to be pretty close so a deece amount of legs. If these two both turn up they will crush everyone imo and the bet is also capable of coming in with only one of them turning up.

PUNT ALERT: The one I fancied yesterday was RvB to hit the highest checkout on the night @ 9/1 (joint 7th fav) with BetFred (he is 7/1 at a few places and 5th favourite). My theory was he is playing MvG so will need to take his chances, will often be left with big scores and I've seen him hit a fair few 170s in the past. Plus I am hoping he wants to show that the Dutch oldschool isn't done in yet. His historical checkout stats in the PL don't really back this up but it's a gut feel and I think he leads MVG 10 - 8 in h2h, he didn't beat MVG 10 times by just finishing on double figure checkouts..

Even if I completely brick at least betting on the last two matches ensures you get a sweat for the whole night.

TICKLE: Couldn't resist having a go on Whitlock @ 4/1. Just too big with Taylor playing how he is.

Can lightning strike four times? Probs should have swerved tonight completely but I am too much of a degen and can never quit on a heater innit.
