I like Snakebite at 15/8. Lewis always gets it tight in Glasgow and has made plenty of comments in the past that make it clear he doesn't like playing there due to the crowd. The fact he is playing against a Scot will make the crowd worse.
I also like Chizzy under 96.5 ave at a shade of odds against. Last on against Anderson and I expect the crowd to be pretty vile by that point which won't be conducive to good darts. He also struggled when the crowd started booing when he was trying to close out his match against MVG in Dublin. He won't have experienced anything like he will face tonight. Also of they do that loudometer thing again (whoever thought that was a good idea needs shot in the face) it won't help scoring any.

Lewis has been playing better the last couple of years in Glasgow as he knows it will get him off the stage quicker.I don't like him but tge abuse he gets is way over the top.

We had table seats directly behind the players when Lewis had pints and coins thrown at him when he played Ando 3 years back, the crowd were horrific that night, totally ruined what had been a great night. Anderson was livid and basically stopped trying. It will be interesting to see how the crowd are in the Hydro it's a fantastic venue and will create a lot of noise but I don't think it will be as hostile as the SECC.

Sighs at Taylor turning up. Glad it was only a tickle.
So excited for the last 2 games.

Top tipping Bazza and Snowy. Saved me from being a complete bust. RvB cost me the 180s bet, did not expect that sort of performance from him. wp sir. Wright win or yet to play?
Wright won with ease.

Massive sigh that sky dropped the noise'o'meter after player request (p taylor missed a big double last week and complained) my bet of Glasgow raising the roof was nailed on after the players and crowd turned up tonight. Back to the drawing board, or dart board!

Guys what do you think of Stephen Bunting for Uk Open, I was looking on Sky and they have him at 33/1 1-2 ew or at 28-1 1-2-3-4, After already winning a floor tournament and all his experience at the BDO surely an Open tournament like this is right up his street. He must be used to putting in a shift and by all accounts this tournament is quite heavy going.
Anyway I've had a little e/w investment for first 4. Just thought I'd put it out there.

Is this the same event that used to be at the Reebok in Bolton in late May/early June once the football season had finished? 'The FA cup of darts' with a totally unseeded draw or a totally new event as its from Minehead and on ITV sport rather than sky sports?

Yes it's moved from Bolton to Minehead and is earlier in the season.

This Yes it's moved from Bolton to Minehead and is earlier in the season. They have obviously fitted it in with Prem League in Exeter to get the 'South West' swing of the season over in one weekend with this event at mine head. Bunting might be value as he will be 'rested' from not being involved on the Thurs night before the uk open starts on Friday. Cant remember any of the 'majors' occurring during the prem league season before.
