David Nicholson, aka Lil Dave, aka SuuPRlim on here, has been on blonde since September 2009. Which would have been when he was a callow 19 year old.
Over six thousand posts later, and posts most days, he's become one if its most popular characters
Accident prone party animal, as genuine as they come, with a not quite award winning poker blog that details many of his escapades across the poker landscape
http://lildaveslife.blogspot.co.uk/with this blog having led to magazine columns such as
http://www.pokerplayer.co.uk/poker-strategy/cash-poker/12808/lildave_thinks.htmlAmidst all the hilarity, its sometimes easy to forget that Dave is an accomplished player, a fixture in Leeds cash games and Online Omaha for several years that have funded all the fun and games he is renowned for. However look through his posts on here. He debates and discusses poker strategy and concepts in great detail and clearly there is a very bright guy behind the blog persona. His results indicate as much too.
Just don't go to Dave for sports betting advice. Look at these two gems from an interview earlier this year
1. "I had loads of cool bets on the Olympics including a great system on the Badminton.”
Interviewer "Oh yeah? What technically proficient system was that?"
“Just bet on anyone from Malaysia. I was enjoying sitting on the couch watching the games and so I asked Dave Shallow for his advice on Badminton and he said always back anyone from Malaysia so that’s what I did.”

2 "“In the British Masters I was on Adam Scott at $200 each-way at 42/1 pre tournament. I was in the Encore in Vegas watching the end, and he had moved to 50/1 on at the 16th hole and somehow managed to blow up. I couldn’t believe that happened. Also one year, at the world snooker championships I bet Ronnie O’Sullivan pre-tournament at 11/4 and Ali Carter pre tournament at 66/1. I think I had £100 on Carter and £200 on Ronnie. Then I found myself in a poker game with the legend that is Steve Davis. I was talking about putting a small bet on a 147 in the first round and Davis said it’s literally impossible, “It’s a terrible price at 20/1 because the cloths are very slow,” he told me. So I decided to leave it. Then Davis said that he flew into Sheffield and saw Stephen Hendry. He said that Hendry had been to China playing pool for three-weeks and was extremely jet-lagged. He set of at something like 13/11 against Stuart Bingham, in the first round, and so Davis said I should back Bingham. So I decided to drop the 147 bet and go hard on Bingham after this golden nugget from the Golden Nugget. Then lo and behold, Stephen Hendry went on to hammer Bingham and also converted a 147 at the same time! So I was pretty raged about that because I had decided to up my stake to a grand thanks to the advice of Steve Davis.”
