As they come back from the break, just in the last level Jamie Moult 3 bet an open from Ben Vnson from 2600 to 8000

Vinson playing 20,000 shoved A-J

Moult called with A-K

2-3-2-J-8

Vinson doubles up.

Andy King raises and in the small blind the very lairy Romano Pizzo calls in the small blind

flop Q-5-7 rainbow

Pizzo checks and before King c-bets Pizzo motions his chips half forward with a sly smile, almost daring King to bet

King c-bets 6,000 with 20,000 behind

Pizzo immediately completes the all-in motion and check-shoves

King insta calls with K-K

Pizzo Q-8 off, and throws his hands in the air with Latin temperament, as if he cannot beleive he is behind

turn 3

river 8

Pizzo's arms cartwheel like a whirling dervish on a windy day.

King rises slowly

The table is a hubbub of whispering. This is, I learn, the third time Pizzo has bashed up Kings in the last few levels, once with Jacks and twice with a bag of spanners.

Bits and bobs from a round of the tables

tikay, playing 35,000 so under average...raises  UTG and gets no action. Two to his right table chip leader is Sheffield's Mo Sadiq, aka Ish the fish. Even he won't call a tikay UTG raise...

---

Peejay Jenkinson is chipping up nicely, has over 100,000

He raises to 2,000 at 500-1000

The button 3 bets him to 5200

Jenkinson 4 bets to 11,800

All this with the  exposed from a folded player

The button folds and the bashful peejay rakes in the pot as if butter wouldn't melt in his mouth

----

On a board of  three clubs

Adam picken raises over a 6,000 lead, to 13,500

He gets a fold, and is up over 40,0000 as a result

---

Heading over to a far table Richard Blacklock button min raises to 2,000 into Mark McCluskey's big blind

McCluskey check calls all three streets for 2,500, 6,600 and 13,700 respectively on

  with

and wins when Blacklock insta mucks once called on the river

Blacklock down to 22,000

Stephen Sethi limps UTG

Caicau Huang raises to 3,000 from 200,000+ at 600-1200

Fraser Bellamy calls

Stephen Sethi playing 70,000 now limp/re-raises 15,000

Huang now pops it up again to 36,000

Bellamy folds

Sethi, with what I described to him after was a rush of blood to the head, (and he cannot believe his mistake) shoves

Call

Sethi J-J

Huang A-A (surprise.....)

Q-Q-7-Q-6 board knocks Sethi out

Huang is a monster chip leader

The Live satellite

119 runners

Looks like it has made a whopping 22 seats for tomorrow

If you are coming tomorrow, and are not already bought in, get her early to avoid queues, or  buy in through the DTD shop before you leave

Going to be very busy, almost certainly

Julian Thew opens 10-9 suited

Ray Brookshaw three bets Aces

Any guesses how this finishes?

Thew calls "probably technically not the correct call" he concedes after

flop?

7-8-J

Thew gets the lot in on the flop, called and doubles to over 100,000

James Gardner raises to 5,000

Ganesh Bathmanathan shoves in position for 13,000

Adam Picken shoves in the small blind for 19,000

In the big blind, Lee Dixon contemplates his navel and thinks about calling with 9-5. but folds.

While Gardner thinks, Ganesh Bathmanathan steps away from the table and says to me "I have Kings"

He turns back to the table and tells Gardner "Don't worry about me, its him you have to worry about" and points to Picken, looking like an explosion in a wig factory, his mop of black hair covering his face making all attempts at establishing his facial expression moot

Gardner folds

"Oh no, you raise folded?" exclaims Ganesh Bathmanathan

and shows his K-K

Picken A-Q

Kings more than double Ganesh Bathmanathan up on 9-9-4-3-6

Picken down to dust

and we are treated to the trademark "I folded 9-5 I knew I should have called, tomorrow's lottery numbers are..." speech from Dixon
